New to Vista
Pros: I'm an IT Professional. IT would seem with all the internet chatter that Vista is a horrible OS. I'm here to tell its not. Been up and running with only minor issues.
Cons: There is a known issue with removable HDD's. If you have an IPOD it works fine but don't configure it as a Ext. Storage Device.
Overall Review: If you bought >2GB of Ram only install 2GB of RAM install Windows, run updates, install your RAM.
Exceptional
Pros: I have 10 of these deployed at various office... dependable, customizable (dd-rt), and last forever
Cons: Does not come with DD-RT installed?
Overall Review: If you want to use this as a office device I suggest tomato or dd-rt
Works like champ
Pros: Works very well with blu-ray and hd dvds.
Cons: I've had this drive on 3 systems it is not always recognized by the bios immediately. So when your PC restarts it might not be recognized.
Overall Review: You will need another drive to load Windows. Once you have Windows loaded the bios should recognize it everytime. Not sure why this happens but it does.
Works as Expected
Pros: No drivers to setup and it will be working in with in 2 minutes.
Cons: ...
Overall Review: Very good single function remote for Vista MC.
GodSend
Pros: Outstandingly easy to use! Since SP1 its been an amazing backup tool. The throughput is better than any business grade device I get 48MBs on WIRELESS connections. Easy to add more if you need it.
Cons: When you want to do complex things sometimes they're looked down for the average user.
Overall Review: Purchased a USB Fax modem and this is our centralized fax. I also work on the road a lot so this serves as my TerminalServer or RDP.
Best NAS Out there
Pros: Amazing transfer speed compared to other NAS devices. I've tried them all and this is the best bang for the buck. There is also a smaller version MV2010 which I would recommend you buy instead. You can swap the internal drive. I have mine with 2x 500GB Seagates (newegg) Mirrored.
Cons: Maximum addressable storage is 1.2GB The FTP is take a bit of playing around with.
Overall Review: This NAS has tons of features but one of the best is that it comes with NTI Backup software for a bare metal backup. You can also use this device as a Print Server and attach USB HDD as well.
