Pros: Couldn't be easier to install. Beautiful graphics and freed up 128 MB being used by my onboard Nvidia GeForce 4 graphics. I'm not a gamer so I wanted a solid graphics card for browsing, photo editing and online video (news, etc)

Cons: No fan on heatsink. Of course, it runs at a cool 41C and I have an 80 mm case fan blowing right at it and another 80 mm exhausting right above it.

Overall Review: Installed in about 2 minutes. Installed the 97xx driver from the PCLinuxOS repository in about 30 seconds, logged out, logged back in and voila -- action. NewEgg once again delivered it in 2 days sharp, well packed in styropeanuts. Rebate was frosting on the cake. Just buy one if you have an AGP board and want a quality card at about 1/3 the original price.

Pros: This is one of those products that overdeliver, if such a thing is possible. The color and sharpness is phenomenol. For 499 buckos it would be a bargain. Newegg's weekend special price of 169 buckos with free shipping gives new meaning to the word "bargain". Oh, and did I mention that it is big. Great for editing a script or document where you can fit both an original and a revision right next to each other on the screen so it's easy to compare them line for line. This is my second Acer flat screen and it won't be my last.

Cons: Newegg lied about shipping. Said the 3-day shipping was free. It was, but it only took one day to deliver -- not three. Gotcha Newegg!

Overall Review: Dot pitch of .248mm gives sharp-as-a-tack text. Color is simply beautifful. Haven't tried a DVD HD movie yet as this is primarily for my computer work. Nice solid stand and complete set of cables make this a great choice for just about any system. Acer + Newegg = great team!

Pros: Upped my Soltek SL-75MRN-L to 2 GB of this ram. Replaced the 5-year-old Mushkin PC2700 Cas2 1 GB with this PC3200. Set timings 2-3-2-5 manually at 200Mhz (400Mhs Dual Channel) Booted fine and ran memtest86 with 0 errors. New life for my 5-year-old motherboard. Runs like a champ and is super stable. AMD 2500+ Barton CPU oc'd to 2800+ without breaking a sweat.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: The High-Polish Platinum heatsinks are slick but you need to open the case to see them. NewEgg got them here in 25 hours from time of order (3-day UPS) $20 rebate nice frosting on the cake. OCZ tech support excellent, accessable and knowledgeable.

Pros: Works great with PCLinuxOS. Great screen. First thing I did was update bios (Compag recommends this for a battery longevity bug which it fixes) Next step was to burn Vista recovery disks (2 DVDs). Then nuked drive, repartitioned it and installed PCLinusOS. Did all of the above with a PCLinuxOS live CD in 20 minutes. Rebooted the laptop and I was online. No spyware, virusware, trojanware, adware and all theother wares that Windows needs just to keep from blowing up. This box runs like a gazelle with out the Vista overload. Downloaded the Windows XP wireless network drivers from Dell (that's right, they have them all for the Broadcom wireless chipset) These run flawlessly with NDIS wrapper when installing them and voila Wireless hooks up beautifully.

Cons: Comes with Vista.

Overall Review: 1 Gig of memory is plenty with PCLinuxOS. Computer is lively and fast. No giant overhead under Linux.

Pros: Beautiful product from Acer. Couldn't be easier to set up. All cables came with it in a nicely packed shipping box. Hooked up DVI cable and power cable. Turned on power, booted and voila -- big, beautiful color and brigh, sharp screen. Did I mention Big? On screen display controls couldn't be better.

Cons: Didn't come with free computer.

Overall Review: New Egg does it again. Great price for a great monitor. Love the 4:3 screen resolution. Much more screen real estate than widescreen format. If you're thinking 19" monitor, think again. This 20" is a steal. A couple of years ago, it would have been 600 clams or so for a monitor like this. Stop scratching your head and just buy it. Thank me.

Comments: Popped this in and turned it up to 12.5 x 180 (2250). Runs like a champ at 1.65 core!! on a Soltek SL 75MRN-L. Using a Vantec copper heatsink, Arctic Silver 3 and the 7000 rpm Vantec huey helicopter fan on top (model 6040H). Core temp is a steady 36 C!! Windows and Sandra recognize it as a 2800+ at 2250. This is higher than a stock 3200+. Maybe with the newer bios it would recognize it as a 3200+.
