Great Dell upgrade
Pros: Another inexpensive upgrade from a celeron to a true P4. Greater speed, no other mods needed.
Cons: None, low price, great improvment in performance.
Overall Review: Third Dell computer upgrade from Celeron to P4. All worked great, no problems.
Pros: Low cost.
Cons: DOA. Outside shipping box looked good, but motherboard box damaged.
Overall Review: Other ASUS boards have been working fine for mid-ranged CPU's.
Great board for inexpensive quad
Pros: Solid board with quad support.
Cons: None. Depending on HD mounting in case, could block sata ports. Could always use more than 5 sata ports.
Overall Review: If HD's mount into the case like a thermaltake case, sata port positions are not any problem. 3rd board with a 9950 Quad, and all work smooth with xp, vista ultimate, and ultimate 64.
Pros: Excellent color, no dead pixels. Like usual, quick delivery. Like the VGA PLUS DVI cables included.# yr warranty a plus!
Cons: none
Overall Review: Nice third monitor for my system.
P4 inexpensive upgrade path.
Pros: Upgraded a Dell 2400 with a celeron to a P4. Works Excellent. Very inexpensive upgrade.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Great upgrade for money. Now that I tested it on 1 Dell 2400 with excellent results, I have 3 more to go in the same office.
MadDog16X DVD Drive
Pros: Fast reading, very quiet, so good I replaced my existing 8X drives with them. A great deal, inexpensive, yet faster than my NEC 16X drive.
Cons: None.Worked better than expected, quiet drive.
Overall Review: If you have some old 8X drives and the time to burn DVD seems long, step up to this drive and have your drive cut the time in half. Burns all generic discs, with no coasters so far.
Great USB 3 expansion card.
Added 3 of these to my server. Now can take all of the usb 3.0 external drives, quickly inventory and sort as needed at a great speed. 12 drives at a time rather than just a couple at a time. No problems with speed between cards and drives. Great product.
