Pros: Compact, clean open design, metal and few sharp edges.
Cons: Few to none
Overall Review: I have the larger version of this case and love it. The smaller one is a great companion for an old server I migrated to a smaller foot print.
Pros: The style is very classic and just disappears in a modern styled office.
Cons: Due to the size the enclosure is very tight. With space to only mount 2x3.5 HDs a small power supply is required but still totally functional.
Pros: Well priced
Cons: nothing worth talking about
Overall Review: This was just a standard upgrade for a new Laptop.
Pros: No driver needed, easy configuration, NO PCI SLOT NEEDED
Overall Review: I use this to take 2 low cost SATA I 2.5" drives into a single RAID 0 stripe. Performance tests are on the higher end of SATA II bandwidth. Volatile RAID space is being used for caching and SWAP on a WHS2011 server. I will be buying more of these and think it the next server to get these cards will be my ESXi server. With no need for additional drivers this is a great product to add RAID function to you boot volumes or systems with limited driver support.
Pros: No driver needed, easy configuration, NO PCI SLOT NEEDED.
Overall Review: I installed this in my WHS2011 server to take 4x640GB drives into a single RAID 5 stripe. It has worked like a champ and speed tests exceed those of the SIIG SATA RAID card that originally connected these drives. No special drivers needed and just one of the best RAID products for the price I have purchased in years.
