Why so many bad reviews

GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD5H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD5H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: On-board sound is very decent. 2 HD ports. So many USB 3.0 ports. The heatsinks do work very nicely, nothing past 35°C even after 4-5 hours of gaming. (other than my GPU and CPU, but those aren't cooled by the mobo.) Very easy to overlock a CPU with the application, with one click ran my 4770k to 4.3 GHz. (also gives the option for 4.1GHz and 4.5 GHz.) Looks great. UEFI Bios very user-friendly makes for an easy overclock and navigation. Don't believe the other comments, VERY EASY to configure the fans' speed according to the case's inside temp (ex.: I want my front fan running at 60% from 30°C and at 80% from 35°C up)

Cons: None of these cons made me take an egg off because I ACTUALLY READ THE SPECIFICATIONS BEFORE BUYING IT. - Might interfere with a closed loop water-cooler's 240mm radiator if you place it ABOVE the motherboard (inside the case) in a mid-tower. If you plan to use one of these coolers (ex. Cooler Master Eisberg Prestige 240, or Corsair H100i), get a FULL TOWER to be able to place it in push AND pull. - Comes with some bloatware (ex.: Toolbars and other stuff). Uninstalling those takes about 15 minutes, I'm not taking an egg off for 15 minutes. - Drivers from the Gigabyte website and their mirrors suck. Still not taking an egg off for that, happens all the time. Just get ma-config -Applications for the motherboard are like 5-10gigs, if you're using a small SSD just for OS, might make some people mad (that is, however, not my case) because they can't install one more game on their SSD.

Overall Review: To all the reviewers putting one egg because they got a defective unit OR because they found out something they didn't like about the motherboard WITHOUT HAVING READ THE ACTUAL SPECS AND DESCRIPTION, please take off your reviews, they are completely useless. Stuff (or another word that begins with S) happens, just RMA and get a replacement. This board is very good, even if the first one you get is broken. THIS CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU ORDER OFF THE INTERNET. I've heard that some people had trouble running some brands of RAM with this board, which wasn't my case. I bought 16 GB of G.Skill Trident 2400 (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231639), worked perfectly.

Most Critical Review

Not the best for BF3 jets and choppers

Pros: Cheap (The reason why I bought it), Very simple layout. 3 thumb buttons with a main trigger and secondary trigger. Very simple configuration.

Cons: I'm gonna start by saying it IS my fault for not checking before buying it, as it was the first joystick I bought. However, the joystick cannot rotate on itself so it cannot entirely replace the keyboard and mouse for jet controls in BF3 (since you have to pitch left and right but also SWAY left and right) -Very light, this means you have to set it down on the surface you play on, or weight it down with your other hand.

Overall Review: I remember my friend bought a joystick for the same price in like 2004-5 for BF1942 and this one could rotate on itself, I don't see why today's joysticks can't do it...

Very good RAM

G.SKILL TridentX Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C9Q-16GTXD
G.SKILL TridentX Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C9Q-16GTXD

Pros: - Excellent RAM, alt-tabbing is practically instant even with a good dozen of applications running and two games at the same time. - Looks very good

Cons: - Didn't work at 2400 right out the box, had to overclock a little, but that's not a problem. - Fan cooler is just for the looks...

Overall Review: When the delivery man showed up at my door, he accidentally dropped the package... I cringed, but it was so well-packed he could have thrown it to the ground and no scratches.

A real monster

EVGA 03G-P4-3784-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Dual FTW w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card
EVGA 03G-P4-3784-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Dual FTW w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card

Pros: Looks nice ACX Cooling is really effective 3 years warranty Runs everything I throw at it Never goes above 75°C (even after 3-4 hours of intense gaming) 400 bucks less than the Titan, for 5-6% less performance

Cons: - Price (700$ with shipping and tax, but I bought it in May), but I'm not taking an egg off for that because you should expect it. With EVGA, you get what you pay for, the best. - I wish they made a 6 GB or 4 GB edition of this. If they can do it with the 770, so can they with the 780

Overall Review: This is the best GPU so far for gaming (Titan is too overpriced). On another subject, I'm disappointed in nVidia's SLI and the way games are optimized. As an example, I get 56 fps in Far Cry 3 with ONE 780. If I get two and run 'em in SLI, I'll get 4 fps more. 700 bucks for 6-7% performance boost? However, to be honest, you only really need ONE of these.
