Yes, no charger (but the desc. says that)
Pros: Compact design. I had one similar to this in the versa-pak series and am excited to have one with lithium batteries that will (should) have a charge when I need it.
Cons: I was surprised when no battery came with it, but the description does say "no battery" if I had read more carefully.
Overall Review: I was also surpised to find no battery in the box, but then I looked at the description again, and it DOES say "No battery or charger included". My mistake. I do not blame Newegg for this. I found a great 3-piece kit with two drills, a flashlight, two batteries and a charger for $129, so I am very happy. You can get this saw and a battery & charger for 149, so 49 for just the saw is pretty dang good. READ THE DESCRIPTION, FOLKS!
No wonder the price dropped
Pros: None I can think of. I guess it's cool-looking, but a cool-looking coaster to set my drink on would be more useful.
Cons: Hard to program, couldn't get it to operate my Mitsu 82-inch DLP. Not all of the buttons light up, including the most usefull ones (if I could get them to work).
Overall Review: Well, I jumped on this becasue a 200 dollar remote for 40 bucks sounded good at the time. What a waste. I really feel sorry for anyone who has paid full price for this junk. Monster stuff is all overpriced junk, I should have known better. Don't tell me I'm an idiot for not getting it to work, either. I have programmed a Phillips Pronto using the IR hex codes. I am no idiot. I was hoping this one would be easier to program/use than the Pronto, but it was not. DO NOT BUY.
