Great external case
Pros: I like the face that it has a fan for keeping larger hard drives cool. I got mine on sale and am very happy with it. With it being USB 3.0 / eSATA there is a big improvement in speed compared to USB 2.0 using SATA III Hard drives.
Cons: The first one I received had a broken fan power line. They are very close to where you slide the hard drive back into the case. I contacted NewEgg and they were more then happy to replace it for me.
Overall Review: I'm looking forward to them going on sale and getting another in the future.
Great for external use
Pros: I just needed a SSD for cloning my Laptop just incase of HD failure, and it does happen.
Cons: NA
Overall Review: WD makes good hard drives, it's just what your preference is. I only use 2 brands of hard drives WD being one of them. When you use a brand for over 20 years with no or very little problems you stick with it.
Nice upgrade
Pros: I just needed a larger SSD for my Laptop and I have used WD in the pass.
Cons: Nothing bad yet
Overall Review: I started using M.2 SSD's a few years back. Even in my tower NVMe M.2 memory is far faster then SSD as well as a space saver.
Best upgrade yet
Pros: I brought a new inexpensive HP laptop on sale (a good price) but needed to give it a little push up from 8GB of cheep memory and this did the trick. Improved overall speed of the system and dropped memory use from 60% down to 18%.
Cons: Haven't found anything to not like about the G-Skill memory.
Overall Review: If I needed more memory for laptops then I would be back for more G-Skill memory.
WD Elements 14TB
Pros: Nice large HD. Great for storage and back-up of large folders.
Cons: Power button is worthless as it doesn't work, won't even turn off the power light. (.
Overall Review: OK I read quit a few reviews about the 14TB HD only being 12.7TB. These folks have no ideal what a hard drive space it really like. No HD has the compactly that is listed, search the web if you want to know HD real space compactly. Even SSD don't have true space size. You also have to remember that when you format a HD it also requires space. External HD like WD and Seagate use 5200 RPM HD's. If you want a faster HD then get a external case and HD that will spin up at 7200RPM to 10,500RPM. the faster the platers spin the faster data will transfer.
Love this memory
Pros: Look I like this memory and cant think of anything wrong so far.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I have 16gb in the dark gray so I couldn't pass up getting another 16gb in the white. Motherboards are normally default set at 2133. I could have overclocked this memory more then I did but I just set it at 2933 to match what was recommend for the AMD chip speed. I might set the memory higher after I run some bench test to see how much of a load I will take.
Great external case
I have 3 of these cases now. When ever I build a system for people I always tell them to keep a clone of there hard drive. These cases are aluminum and not plastic so they really hold up. I'm ordering another seeing I gave this one away for a clone hard drive.
