Best for water-cooled systems

LIAN LI PC-O8WX Black Aluminum ,and Tempered glass ATX Super Tower Computer Case ATX PSU (Optional) Power Supply
LIAN LI PC-O8WX Black Aluminum ,and Tempered glass ATX Super Tower Computer Case ATX PSU (Optional) Power Supply

Pros: This case will definitely impress anyone who looks at it. It really gives pc enthusiasts something to be proud of when showing it off. Plenty of water cooling support if you have a little patience and not afraid to mod the case a little. (more on this in other comments) This will support some eatx motherboards, I currently have an Asus RIVBE motherboard in and it fills the motherboard tray almost perfectly. the only reason I say almost is because I had to remove the gromet near the sata ports because it put extra stress on the top and bottom sata cable on my mobo, but that's pretty minor imo. This case is perfect for a water-cooled system. Cable management in mothboard zone is perfect, no excess cables to be seen what so ever. The cable management in zone 2 isn't terrible but could definitely use some work. Took a good bit time to plan and manage the cables in the rear to avoid blocking air flow. I had a lot of fun building with case, and a few frustrations as well but it was well worth the time to get everything just right. The included leds are great, they look really nice the led spacing on them is good, and for the first time ever I was very happy with the adhesive. I don't have to worry about them ever falling off. The fan filters are some of the best I have seen. The top of case pops off and the filters just slide out for easy cleaning. The frames of the filters are metal as well so no worries about brittle plastic. I also noticed the the front fan filter is screwed together so if something happens to the screen it will be easy to replace.

Cons: Certainly not ment to be air cooled. Had my 980 Ti's running on air for awhile while I waited for my waterblocks to arrive and my cards were starved. It was the first time I had seen my graphics card hit 90°, yes 90. I did a double take when I saw the Temps. My cards were spaced out enough that I could fit a 3rd between them and it still didn't help. Using the tops fans as intake helped a little but not enough. I ended up taking off the side panel which made things much better except I didn't have my side panel. Once I was able to get my Ek blocks and install them all my cooling troubles went away. My cards were using the stock blower heatsink, not sure if a more open cooler design would work better.

Overall Review: Overall I would say this is a great case for enthusiasts looking for something different then a standard tower. The all aluminum construction and tinted tempered glass sides compliment each other very well. If you want to build a custom loop be patient and have plenty of time to work on it. The 360 rad support could use some work. An extra inch in height would have been nice. Did alot research to try and find the shortest 360 rad I could and it still didn't fit right, it was off by about a 1/16 of an inch. for now I have the fans mounted in zone 2. Considering pulling out the dremel and elongating the screw holes, or I have also considered building a shroud to put over the fans mostly to hide the screws. I'll agree with other reviewers that there is a good chance you'll be pulling out you PSU a few times during the build. Certainly the most expensive case I have purchased but it was well worth it in my opinion. It would have been nice if it had a pwm fan hub pre-installed. I ended up buying an 8 fan hub and installing it a few inches left of the led hub, sitting where I can reach between the rad and HDD cage, worked out pretty well. It is a pretty tight fit in the rear zone, but if you take the time to plan your build even the rear zone will come out looking very clean and open. Packaging was great as well. the side panels came inside of there own box wrapped in foam and set on top of the case it self. No damage to any part of the case. I'm very pleased with this case and my build in general, I really like the awe factor when people walk into the room and see it.

Pleasantly suprised

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Series PH-ES614L_BK Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Series PH-ES614L_BK Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great cable management features. Lots of room for fans and radiators. I honestly couldn't believe how light it was. picking it up and turning it around during the build process took next to nothing. the accent lighting that's built in looks great. Had zero issues with the cable grommets trying to pop off while passing cables through which is a big plus in my book, it can make for a lot of unnecessary hassle. The case is very sturdy. took it completely apart during the build and didn't notice any wobble in the frame. Fan filters everywhere, one big one on top two on bottom and one in front. All fan filters seemed easy to remove and clean except the front filter.. got pop off the front of the case and then pop it lose from the clips that hold it, not terrible but would have been better is there was someway to get at it without having to remove the face of the case.

Cons: cant really think of anything. maybe the front fan filter.. but that's pretty minor all things considered

Overall Review: My gf wanted this case for her birthday, so in addition to her new galaxy s7 phone and tv I got her this case and transfered everything over to it. She has been super stoked about it. Gotta admit if I was in the market for another case I would seriously consider getting this one for myself as well, for now though I'll stick with my Lian Li PC-08. Wish the cable management in my case was as easy as it was in hers though...

Works perfectly

Swiftech 8W-PWM-SPL-ST 8 Way PWM Splitter-Sata
Swiftech 8W-PWM-SPL-ST 8 Way PWM Splitter-Sata

Pros: support for 8 fans. pwm Control holds in place fine for me

Cons: only seems to work when attached to the CPU header. not horrible just not sure why my other pwm headers don't work for it

Overall Review: the sticky tape on it could be better but overall works just fine. had to connect it CPU header, other pwm headers on my board don't seem to work.

Works like a champ

Corsair Certified CWCH100 Hydro Series H100 CWCH100 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair Certified CWCH100 Hydro Series H100 CWCH100 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: Keeps cpu cool. Idles around 30°c to 35°c depending on fan profiles. Max has never been above 50°c. Nice and quiet. Looks good (although it would be nice if the tube could be changed to fit my color scheme better, but thats what custom loops are for) overall very satisfied with purchase. If it wasn't for the refurbished label on the sealed box I would have never known it had been repaired.

Cons: None that I can think of

Overall Review: Finally decided to upgrade from my old evga 780i mobo running a q6600@3.2 with 4gb of Kingston ram. To a RIVBE paired with 16gb of g.skill ripjaws z and a 4820k@4.5.The change was night and day. Runs like a champ and looks good doing it! Was kinda concerned about this cooler based on some reviews here that had issues.. even read one from a consumer saying it came to him rusty. Others have had bent fins or a bad pump. Guess I got lucky, seeing as this unit came in perfect condition with all the hardware (minus 1 washer but that may have been my fault and was easily replaced.) The one I got has been running 24/7 since it was installed and hasn't made any noise or had any trouble keeping cpu cool. Didnt like that this unit kept my fans running at max so I plugged them into my mobo so I could better control them for a quieter operations. Also not using the fans that came with it. I have a couple enermax tb vegas trios cooling the radiator. (Love the lighting effects they produce for my system.)

Great ram havnt had any issues

Pros: Great ram. No post issues. Xmp loaded it to 2133 without an issue. Stable, fast couldn't be happier.

Cons: Not a single issue yet.

The change was night and day. Runs like a champ and looks good doing it! My last build held up for 8 yrs and still does good with 1080p gaming. Hoping this system will have the same luck.

Awsome cpu

Intel Core i7-4820K - Core i7 4th Gen Ivy Bridge-E Quad-Core 3.7GHz (Turbo 3.9GHz) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80633i74820K

Pros: Great cpu. Oc'ed to 4.5 no problem on stock voltage. Has run prime95 for more then 24hrs with out any issues. idles between 30°c and 35°c max load hasn't gone above 50°c. Havnt seen it stress out while multitasking gaming, movies, etc all running at one at once.

Cons: Can't think of any. For a gaming pc this cpu has more then enough power.

The change was night and day. Runs like a champ and looks good doing it! I like playing custom matches of sc2 with a unit supply limit of 1000. This creates major issues when you have 4 to 8 full army's meeting in the center of the map to duke it out in full 1080p with all settings maxed. With my old system it would bog down and show a new frame every 3-4 seconds. With my new set up i can watch the whole thing unfold in real time with frame going no lower then 30fps using the same gtx 770 I had in both systems. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
