Solid
Pros: I've used 4 of these and every one has worked fine so far in mid-range builds. Nice weight for an inexpensive PSU. Bought all 4 on sale at Newegg.
Cons: Not on sale anymore.
Overall Review: I want a Viking helmet for Christmas.
Avoid like the plague
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Cheap. This is my second build with this particular case. First case was flimsy, didn't like to stand up straight and came with DVD door broken. Overall though, not bad for the price. Second case came yesterday with a scratch on the bezel, dent on the top, and case badge fallen off and loose in the box. I shrugged it off. Got everything installed and unit will not power on. Through various testing I discover that neither the power button NOR the reset button work. After shipping and restocking for an RMA, I would only get back a few bucks. Totally not worth the trouble. This is a build for a client so I guess I'm eating the cost of a new case and using this one to plant Cilantro in next spring. This case is extremely flimsy and poorly built. Panels do not fit well without forcing. What is up with the QC at Raidmax?
Overall Review: As others mentioned, on 2 different mobos, audio cables were too short to reach without taking front off and rerouting wires. I've purchased several other Raidmax models over the years and have never had one as poorly built as this one. If you like to gamble, go to the Casino instead of purchasing this thing. I only wish I could give it zero eggs.
Very cheaply made, wouldn't purchase again.
Pros: Large side window. Eh... It comes with fans?
Cons: Very cheaply made and flimsy, even for a budget case. Better cases can be had in this price range.
Overall Review: No cable management to be had in this thing. I wanted to swap out the fans for a different color... The way they're positioned, just about everything has to come out of the case first. Who designs things like this? After popping the front off, one of the pegs is jacked up and it wouldn't go back on all the way. Don't let the Antec branding fool you. I have a 20 year old cheap-o Raidmax case that is better designed and built than this. It's not worth paying the return shipping or I would send it back.
Huh...
Pros: Not a bad little board for the price, however...
Cons: Purchased this with a x-2 Regor 250. Board would not post with the new CPU. I'd assumed after looking at the CPU support list, that it would support this slightly newer revision of the 250. After going back and looking again now, not one CPU revision on Newegg appears on the list of approved CPU's for this board. No bios updates since August 2010? Mobo appears to be out of stock since I ordered a few weeks ago. Maybe they're fazing it out and won't bother with updates? I'm not pleased. What gives Asrock? Running an old 64 x-2 2Ghz in it right now. Even with a 4 pin connector and cool and quiet enabled, the fan runs full speed and sounds like a jet engine.
Overall Review: Debating on an RMA... However, we're in the middle of moving and the mobo box is already packed away somewhere. Not sure if it's worth the trouble. DO NOT BUY WITH A NEW CPU OR YOU'RE TAKING YOUR CHANCES OF THIS BOARD NOT RECOGNIZING IT.
