great psu with a great black friday rebate

Pros: 600W for $50, sli and xfire ready
Cons: no fan control (supposed to be "smart" temp controlled), no modular cable interface. pretty dang annoying to find places for 3 cables you don't need in a small case. not 80 plus.
Overall Review: Does it's job, not too noisy (though as previously stated, a fan control would have been nice).
Good while it lasted

Pros: Great options for the price, good scalibility.
Cons: It toasted. And took my 4pin PSU connector with it.
Overall Review: I had this thing for 3 months. No OC'ing, no tuning, just stock in an antec p182 case. Never over tempd, never crashed. One day, it just turned off, and it wouldn't turn back one again. Thought it was the psu, but when I pulled it out, the 4pin CPU lead was melted. I still tried another PSU just to be sure but to no avail. Seems I need a new one, though I'm out of newegg's RMA period of 30days.
Looks nice, OK quality

Pros: It's sleek, the size of an A/V receiver, it holds a bunch of drives, and you can take in cold air for your psu through the perf side. Most of the edges are rolled so you don't get cut. Great looking htpc case. Everything comes apart relatively easily so you can build with lots of room.
Cons: Not all the edges are rolled (rear panel). Rear panel is flimsy, and the top cover was a very snug, poorly machined fit. One of the pci bracket screws was misaligned with the cover and bent the cover back in that place - obviously done at the factory. Front aluminum push button panel feels like an unfinished product - compared to the Lian Li case I'm transferring from (PC-B25), it's junk. Overall, just not a lot of attention to detail.
Overall Review: To be honest, I didn't expect a whole lot from this case other than that it looks good from the front and fits in my tv/entertainment stand. Most of the cons are just me being used to having a Lian Li case (i.e.= near perfect manufacturing). But this is really the only case in it's priceline that looks this great from the front, and that's worth it to me. Also, I didn't get the newer version with the blu-ray logo. No big deal, but a little deceptive in the advertising when you publish photos of one thing but ship another product. Evidently there are two versions of this chassis and Newegg shipped me an old one - again, just a let down of expectations.
