Worked perfectly - 4K UHD Rips no problem5/8/2020 2:47:44 PM

Pros: - Read and ripped the latest 4K UHD Star Wars - TROS no problem. - Worked right out of the box. - Whisper quiet, especially when compared to my previous Asus standard Blu-Ray drive.

Cons: - Pricey, but I don't have to worry about bricking a drive.

Overall Review: I'm guessing newer units are much quieter than previous reviewer's units because you can barely hear this one. It sounds like a good 120mm fan at 1200RPM.

Great Simple Case4/2/2019 1:25:28 PM

Pros: -Cheap -Looks good -Air flow is great if additional fans are added -Magnetic dust filter on top

Cons: -Included fan needs to be removed and reinstalled later if you have a large IO cover on your MOBO. -PSU filter isn't magnetic. -I wouldn't recommend for builds that include radiators, not enough clearance on top or in front. -Front panel comes off easily if you accidentally lift from there. (learned from experience)

Overall Review: This is a great case overall especially considering price. Bought three of these and quality was consistent on all three. The cons I listed are mostly there so you can plan for your build.

(Update) Bought two, one down.12/21/2016 4:23:28 PM

Pros: Easy install, easy UI in BIOS. The one board that is still up and running hasn't had a single problem.

Cons: (UPDATE) Wow, RMA finished, installed new board, worked great, shipped computer back to family member, computer worked for a day, AND MOBO NOW HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN GIGABYTE. Identical CPU, RAM, etc setup as the first good board, but the second one has 3 out of 4 DIMM slots down for the count. Board worked fine for a year, and then the slots failed individually after each boot from an off state. I am now just leaving the computer on while I wait for the RMA process, as shutting it down and powering on will most likely cause the last slot to fail.

Overall Review: This is probably my 30th or so build and the first time that I've had a MOBO go out on any. It was bound to happen eventually, thus the 3 stars instead of 1. I will update after the RMA process is complete.

Solid Motherboard7/24/2016 3:18:03 PM

Works great6/15/2014 2:15:37 PM

Pros: Simple to use, easy to set up, does exactly what it says it does.

Cons: none

Overall Review: I use this primarily with the esata port and data transfers are quick and painless. Occasionally I use the USB for connections to a secondary computer and it works great there to. Highly recommend for anyone that transfers data from old to new computers a lot.

Love This Case6/27/2008 3:43:06 AM

Pros: Best decision I made was to get this case for my new build. A lot of room to work, more fans than you know what to do with, and it looks awesome when your lights are off. I'll say again, very roomy.

Cons: It kind of sucks that you have to take the front off to install HD's but it makes for better construction.

Overall Review: Everything in this case is kept very cool. I installed the two optional fans just for fun but it does make a difference. Highly recommended case. Intel Q6600, ZALMAN 9700 110mm, Gibabyte GA-EP35-DS3L, G.Skill 2GB DDR800 x2, nVidia 8800GT, Antec 900.

Difficult to OC6/27/2008 3:30:18 AM

Pros: Great construction, easy to install.

Cons: Found out to late that it is almost impossible to OC this MOBO at the moment. Hopefully soon they will release a new BIOS fixing this problem.

Overall Review: Overall great MOBO, only complaint is the lack of OC support at the moment. Intel Q6600, Gibabyte GA-EP35-DS3L, G.Skill 2GB DDR800 x2, nVidia 8800GT, Antec 900.

Cools like ice6/27/2008 3:26:05 AM

Pros: Keeps my Q6600 cool, 28C at 1600 RPM. Easy enough on installation, everything went on nice and sturdy feeling. Great design with back bracket for the MOBO. Fits fine in my Antec 900.

Cons: Just know ahead of time that if you are adding this to an existing build you will have to take out the MOBO, which could be frustrating. I would only recommend this for durable MOBO's, it's a heavy thing once attached. And it's huge but you should know this already.

Overall Review: Gives me alot of room in the future to OC. I have the fan on almost the lowest setting and can go up quite a bit before I start to hear it. Intel Q6600, Gibabyte GA-EP35-DS3L, G.Skill 2GB DDR800 x2, nVidia 8800GT, Antec 900.
