Best card I've owned!

EVGA 01G-P3-1371-AR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) FPB EE 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
EVGA 01G-P3-1371-AR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) FPB EE 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This card is amazing, runs everything maxxed out at 1080P with no problems! It's the first EVGA product I've bought but I do not regret it! The card is very well built and the software that comes with it is simple but very useful! With EVGA Precision I got the core up to 900Mhz and memory up to 2000Mhz with no changes to the voltage and it didn't get any warmer than what it is. - Lifetime warranty within 30 days of registration; - Unbeatable performance VS price ratio; - Excellent overclokability; - Silent & Energy efficient; - No dumb robot or sexy asian girl sticker; - NVIDIA drivers; - PhysX & CUDA; - Excellent F@H performer; - Smaller than my 4870 and GTS 250.

Cons: - Didn't get my Just Cause 2 coupon. - Could come with more extras.

Overall Review: I dislike people with no knowledge reviewing products they do not know. Comments such as "Oh noes it's overheating at 70ºc, that's too hot!" are pointless. This range of temperature is perfectly normal to these cards, they can go up to 105ºc in extreme cases without permanent damage, the shutdown temperature is around 105~110ºc. If you haven't got a clue about it why bother monitoring it's temperature? It's perfectly normal to see this card up to 90ºc and please do not worry about it, mine does not make it past 81ºc and you can always create a different fan profile with EVGA precision. The fan is very silent even running heavy games such as Metro 2033. My Radeon 4870 would easily hit 90ºc+ and it still works just fine after a couple of years. Also make sure you got a good airflow in your case, fitting this card in a mini-atx case with crowded cables and no extra fans will surely heat things up.

Worst vga ever

MSI GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card NX8600GTS-T2D256E-OC
MSI GeForce 8600 GTS 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card NX8600GTS-T2D256E-OC

Pros: Nice performer for low price, runs everything at 1024x768 maxxed, including Crysis, Call of Duty 4.

Cons: VGA died after a month, I couldn't believe how silent it was, of course! The cooler wasn't working properly, lots of problems with blue screens, arctifacts and then finally the TV-Out was dead along with the VGA in the next few days, even only running the Windows Desktop.

Best router @ this price range

TP-LINK TL-WR941ND Wireless Home Router, 450 Mbps, 3 detachable antennas, IP QoS, WPS Button
TP-LINK TL-WR941ND Wireless Home Router, 450 Mbps, 3 detachable antennas, IP QoS, WPS Button

Pros: -Exceptional range -Very complete firmware with bandwidth control -Parental control -Easy to setup -Very stable -1 month + uptime, no problems -Bandwidth control works flawlessly with Mac X IP binding. -I got 5 years warranty outside US.

Cons: -Only 100Mbps HUB, no 5Ghz -Dislike QSS setup -Gets hot -Could look better, black perhaps?

Overall Review: I had a hard time trying to find a decent replacement for my old Netgear WPN824 which died after 5 years. The history is long, but I've tried Linksys, D-Link and Netgear, both of their mainstream routers gave me several headaches until I gave up. TP-Link is not a very well known brand around but after I read a few reviews I decided to give it a try. I have connected 4 computers and 2 laptops through it, most of them are constantly downloading Torrents, eMule and other P2P. We also run several games online. It just works. I finally have a router that works! Acquired a second one for my office and would recommend it for anyone who wants an inexpensive but functional router full of features.

Amazing, just amazing!

BELKIN F5D9050 Wireless G Plus MIMO Network Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
BELKIN F5D9050 Wireless G Plus MIMO Network Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: This little USB device, well, not so little, has a lot more range than my laptop, the signal is very stable and I've just paid less than $15,00 on it through Newegg! The setup was very easy the the Belkin application is simple, intuitive and efficient, very different from the most common adapters.

Cons: It could be somewhat smaller to fit on the back panel without the base but it's not a big deal. It's not Wireless N but hell, I paid $12,99 for it!

Great budget motherboard, nothing else beats it

ECS BLACK SERIES GF8200A (V1.0) AM2+/AM3 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ECS BLACK SERIES GF8200A (V1.0) AM2+/AM3 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Great performance, great price, easy to install, stable and has neat features. The onboard video is excelent and it is not useless if you buy a second VGA card, it is a good performer and will let you play some games those doesn't require a high end VGA, my friend was playing around with WoW and Second Life on this PC and it ran both, great for onboard graphics, it also fully supports HD making it perfect for a HTPC, search for the review of this motherboard on Guru3D, it says it all!

Cons: It doesn't come with a DVI, only VGA which sucks a bit, also no digital audio.

Overall Review: I had a system with a Asus M2N68 motherboard which was great, however it had only 2 DDR2 slots and this is my secondary computer, since I want to upgrade my main one and need a backup computer, I wanted to fully enjoy my 8GB Corsair XMS2 and needed the 4 slots. This is my first ECS and I am not sure how durable their products are, this board surely outperforms my older Asus but not sure how comparable would be their quality.

Awesome deal for a budget and high performer PC!

ASUS M2N68-AM AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M2N68-AM AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: To begin with, it's price is amazing for the number of the features you get, including the quality of Asus Motherboards, a nice layout, nicely made, amazing BIOS with many advanced options and large possibilities for overclock and memory timings. The onboard video is very decent, but mostly for a workstation that wont play anything new. I'd compare it with a Geforce 6200. It runs Half-Life 2 and it's mods fairly well at 1024x768 and few other games, note that it's one of the best performing onboard VGA around but forget about new games, it barely runs COD4 at 800x600 on Medium settings. The chipset stays cool, the board is rock solid, the onboard audio is very decent, updating the bios is VERY easy with a flash USB drive, the Bios is perfect and the board stays line to line with a high end motherboard when a VGA is added.

Cons: Had few issue with "Graphics" corruption, the screen would completely become bugged with vertical lines while using the onboard vga, I do believe it might be because the drivers and it never happened again. There are no additional plugs for case fans. Only 2 memory slots.

Overall Review: Best all around at this price. The documentation is very complete and the DVD comes with Asus PC Probe, Update and all. The board is very simple but perfect, it performs REALLY well and has a fairly recent chipset/architecture. Still I have issues with nvidia video drivers, once I had updated it my problems were gone. Runs cool, copper dissipator on the chipset, 2 PCI, 4Sata, Gigabit lan. Running 11 workstations: Athlon X2 4800+, 2GB Kingston value, Radeon x1600pro. None gave me headaches.
