Logitech 963282-0403 MOMO Racing Force Feedback Wheel
Logitech 963282-0403 MOMO Racing Force Feedback Wheel

Pros: This wheel out of the box provides force feedback, and in simulation racing games provides a good feel. The wheel does have a slight glitch with regards to a sensor that can get dirty causing the wheel to go slightly off center. Overall it is a great buy for the money though. The next step up from this type of wheel is usually 2 to 3 times what this wheel costs.

Cons: The achilles heel of this unit is the pedals. They wear out in a short time falling out of calibration frequently. They do provide several hours of phenomenal use, but once the pots go bad the reliability goes with it.

Overall Review: I would recommend this wheel to any first time buyer for steering wheels. If you are looking for a great budget wheel this is your buy. If you are a serious simulation racer, you will probably be looking for a little more than this system can give you.

Stable setup

EVERCOOL VC-RHC Ever Lubricate VGA Cooler
EVERCOOL VC-RHC Ever Lubricate VGA Cooler

Pros: Would have given 4.5 stars. It is just a little complex knowing high to lineup all 4 pins. If you have a good mechanical understanding, this is a great product. You will struggle without some basic computer building knowledge. I fit this on an ATI X1800XL.

Cons: No memory heatsinks included. Would have been nice, but so far not a problem. The card is bulky with the fan, but it is relatively quiet, and I have the room in the case. You will need room for 2 slots for this product. There

Overall Review: The most fundamental thing to do is SAVE THE SPRING off the back of the video card. This is a must to get a good seating. Others have complained that it didn't fit "flush". After you mock fit the heatsink, and place the fittings in the correct place. You will notice that the heatsink is not flush. When you take that x-spring on the back of the card. It torsions the middle of the GPU towards the heatsink. This in essence provides a perfect fit.

updated-bang for the buck

ECS PA1 MVP (2.0) LGA 775 ATI RD400X ATX Intel Motherboard
ECS PA1 MVP (2.0) LGA 775 ATI RD400X ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I have to say I am totally happy with this board at this point. The x1800 video card is pulling triple digits in every game I try it in at 1600 x 1200.

Cons: for the price none. ATI is releasing some newer chipsets since this purchase I made. So I will be missing out on some technology advances. At any rate swapping a Mobo for this upgrade cycle for the price is easily worth it.

Overall Review: If you put the video card in the wrong slot, the computer will not go into BIOS. They give you a chip that you piggy back on the bios to reset it if you flash your bios wrong. Once you put this "piggy back" chip on you turn the computer on, and voila the original bios is now reflashed on the mobo. The floppy connection while it is a little odd, the bundle comes with a floppy cable that reaches it and leaves about 6 inches of extra cable. Granted, this isn't a first time system builder board, but it does include EVERYTHING you need.

Nice bang for the buck

ECS PA1 MVP (2.0) LGA 775 ATI RD400X ATX Intel Motherboard
ECS PA1 MVP (2.0) LGA 775 ATI RD400X ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: It comes with alot of features. The ability to run 10 hard drives is nice. The use of 2 video cards is also a plus.

Cons: When you put your 2 video cards in, you will have to make some decisions. Both video cards will stretch to the primary IDE channel of the Motherboard. the cables can be substituted for short ones, but you would have to put them in, and then install your video cards right on top of it. ANother factor is the upper video card will be right up next to the memory slots.

Overall Review: Overall the board performs nicely, It won't set a record for highest overclock. It will run very stable at stock settings though. It is an excellent value where it is priced at. You will spend twice as much money to get 10% better performance than what this board will do.

Solid buy

Antec LifeStyle SONATA II Piano Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W SmartPower 2.0 Power Supply
Antec LifeStyle SONATA II Piano Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 450W SmartPower 2.0 Power Supply

Pros: It is very quiet and comes with an Antec power supply. What more could you ask? It also has a number of slide in rails for hard drives etc.

Cons: The air duct system will not really cool a 2nd video card for a PCI express system. The case is designed for a higher video ard, and not one that is located closer to the bottom. This results in no new air getting to the lower video card. Most dual card systems will need better airflow than what this will provide.

Overall Review: The only drawback to the case is the airflow system. If you are using it for a single card, it will work fine. Steer clear of it if you are planning on using 2 video cards though.
