Impressive !!

BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Graphics Card BFGR88768GTXOCE
BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Graphics Card BFGR88768GTXOCE

Pros: This beast is FAST. I have not even begun to see what it can do. I am running it in an ASUS Commando MB with a QX6700 and I am running Vista RC1 and DirectX10. I am using the beta drivers which work well. This is a large and heavy board built like a brick House!. The cooling seems to be effective and is very quiet. It does flow moderatly warm air out the back, enough to feel if you wish to do so. Even with beta drivers and a pre release OS and a brand new Mobo with new BIOS this card ran well right out of the box. BFG also gives you a few goodies, nice suprise.

Cons: Not cheap but that is not a flaw. This card is long so do not try to put it in a small case.

Overall Review: This card is big so plan well. be ready to move other cards and cables and be sure you have the power leads that can reach. Somehow I can not see myseld wanting a new graphics card again for a while. NewEgg got it to me in a day and packed it like it were the royal jewels.

Looks really good, BUT!....

Saitek PK17U Black/Silver 104 Normal Keys 12 Function Keys USB Standard Cyborg Keyboard
Saitek PK17U Black/Silver 104 Normal Keys 12 Function Keys USB Standard Cyborg Keyboard

Pros: Looks great, extreme controll over lighting color and brightness.

Cons: Keys are spongy, the space bar is impercise. The media touch controls are a pain and very inacurate. You seem to always overshoot your wanted volume. A hard key for volume would have been much better.

Overall Review: Good gaming keyboard for WASD users but if you want to type it is only fair. The macro keys software is glitchy. While I love the way it looks I may just go back to my old keyboard.

Seemingly very high quality

ASUS ROG RAMPAGE IV BLACK EDITION LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Gaming Motherboard
ASUS ROG RAMPAGE IV BLACK EDITION LGA 2011 Intel X79 USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Gaming Motherboard

Pros: apparently very high quality components, very versatile, booted up on the first try, I was able to OC my 4930k to 4.4 Ghz on the first try with almost no tweaking (the tweaking and push for more will happen this weekend). 12 hours of Prime 95 and not a hiccup, temps never went over 58 degrees C. On idle temps are in the mid 20 degree C range (using a Corsair H100i) I only have 32 Gb of RAM, 4 DIMMS (Corsair vengeance Pro) but no problems with it. Be sure if you use CPU-Z to multiply the reading by 2X to get the true Mem speed. It looks great, it installed easily, the BIOS is amazing in its capabilities, it has run for the last five days without a single glitch. I think it is worth every penny.

Cons: I would like at least one more USB connection at mid or front board as well as one more USB 2 connection.

Overall Review: This is not an i-Kiddies board. If you are not building a high end rig and if you are going to skimp on the other components you might want to consider something else, BUT.... if you want what appears to be the top motherboard to date then get this one, you will not be disappointed.

A true HD (NOT 1080P)

SAMSUNG 24" Active Matrix, TFT LCD WUXGA Height Swivel tilt & pivot Adjustable LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI-D 2443BWT-1
SAMSUNG 24" Active Matrix, TFT LCD WUXGA Height Swivel tilt & pivot Adjustable LCD Monitor 5 ms D-Sub, DVI-D 2443BWT-1

Pros: True HD 1920 X 1200 not a 1080p toy. Good color, reasonable price. Screen is easy on the eyes (not reflective glossy)

Cons: None so far. But not quite a 244t or a 245t.

Overall Review: I use three 1920 X 1200 Samsungs in surround. When I had to get a 3rd monitor to go to surround I realized that most monitors out todat are toys. 1080P narrow aspect may be hi def for a TV but for a computer is is lacking. This monitor is just the right size and with a non reflective non glossy screen it is perfict for gaming and productivity. I like it and I highly recommend it.

Works Great (for a while)

OSTER 4207 Inspire Wine Opener Silver
OSTER 4207 Inspire Wine Opener Silver

Pros: When new it looks and works great. Easy to use.

Cons: We have had two of them and both of them have failed (failed to hold a charge or will not charge??) after about 4 to 6 months. We know someone else who has one and had the same failure at about the sale period of time.

Overall Review: Looks like a "designed in America but unfortunatly Made in China" product. Great idea but cheaply made.

Not Perfect buy very good

Microsoft LifeCam Cinema
Microsoft LifeCam Cinema

Pros: Good resolution I get compliments on SKYPE conf calls regarding clarity Sound quality surprisingly good Decent autofocus Works well with Win 7 64 (in spite of the no nothings that say otherwise)

Cons: Frame rates just fair.

Overall Review: The sound is good enough that I actually was able to use it for one of my webcasts with no one noticing that I was not using my normal Mic. On video calls I am getting unsolicited compliments of the picture The sound is good enough that I actually was able to use it for one of my webcasts with no one noticing that I was not using my normal Mic.
