Hanns-G JC-199DPB 19" SXGA 1280 x 1024 D-Sub, DVI-D Built-in Speakers LCD Monitor
Hanns-G JC-199DPB 19" SXGA 1280 x 1024 D-Sub, DVI-D Built-in Speakers LCD Monitor

Pros: This monitor is huge, using a replacement to my 17" CRT dual monitor, it compliments my 21" CRT nicely. very bright, and very beautiful.

Cons: Came with 1 dead pixel (RED), rubbed pixel, turned monitor off, rubbed some more, turn back on and like always it went away. So NONE!!!!

Overall Review: Beautiful, i should have bought two, and done 3 monitors...that'll have to be my next purchase.

Amazing NAS for Home or Business

Synology DS1512+ Diskless System High Performance NAS Server Scales up to 15 Drives for SMB Users
Synology DS1512+ Diskless System High Performance NAS Server Scales up to 15 Drives for SMB Users

Pros: Bullet Points: * High Uptime * Amazing DSM interface * Great Community Support * Dual Bridged Ethernet for high throughput * 15 Drive limit * Low Power Consumption * High Redundancy * Everything is Hot-Swapable (even the fans) * Plex Media Server * Runs a linux distro * Price point * Support from Synology Synopsis: This NAS is highly reliable and comes in at only $829 when compared to it's Drobo counterpart this is an amazing price point. If you are serious about Network Attached Storage, with Backup ability for all devices (including Timemachine for Mac OS X) this is the device for you. Some might argue that this price point is high since you have to also buy the hard drives, but that price to what you have to pay for any good NAS, anyone telling you different is either showing you an ARM based NAS or building you a ghetto ridged NAS that is really nothing more than a micro computer in a micro case. Don't be fulled this is a Dual Core Intel Processor that can handle Plex streaming in HD to multiple devices. It is a dream to manage and after initial configuration that takes a Average Computing level you likely won't ever need to touch it again (other than to update packages whenever you want).

Cons: * Plex official packages take a little more time that the 3rd party releases, however since you can install any update that isn't on the official list this isn't really a huge negative. * Doesn't cook you toast

Overall Review: As a computer engineer, I am highly experienced in both the software and hardware aspects of integrated systems.

Thermaltake A2383 80mm Fan Noise Dampener
Thermaltake A2383 80mm Fan Noise Dampener

Pros: Worked as stated

Cons: Doesn't work on all Lian Li case fans

Overall Review: Did what it stated it would do and silenced one noisy fan.

Not recommended

SYBA SY-VIA-150 PCI SATA / IDE Combo Controller Card, Non Raid
SYBA SY-VIA-150 PCI SATA / IDE Combo Controller Card, Non Raid

Pros: Is able to recognize the xbox 360 dvd drive without any issues, no need to edit the mtkflash

Cons: Doesn't have a bios, so you cannot boot with this. In my opinion simply get a good one, and then edit the mtk...peace

Overall Review: Newegg as always was amazing. If you are just now starting to look around here, stop bookmark and thank whoever told you to come here.

Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200JB 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Caviar SE WD3200JB 320GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache IDE Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Drive is 320GB, nice for a storage device. I have 2 200GB WD SATA drives, in RAID 0 for my OS, and this is secondary for storage works beautifully only trust Western Digital, i have a roommate who always goes Seagate, and always has problems...i never have had any and love WD for it.

Cons: Only shows 297GB in Windows XP Pro, That's quite a lose of space...

Overall Review: I would buy SATA version generally cheaper and better/faster... If you need to buy a RAID or SATA controller, they are generally cheap, i would go for a VIA chipset, i like them the most.
