Great Monitor, with a few little things ...

Pros: The biggest pro -- the price. This thing is ridiculous for the price. Bought it to use as HDTV's in my bedrooms with DirecTV boxes. Plugged HDMI cable in and the internal speakers kicked on and all was right with the world. Speakers do ok for built-ins. I can watch TV and navigate the DirecTV guides from 10 feet away. Also --- wall mountable!
Cons: The buttons in the front can be a challenge. Since it doesn't have an IR Port, and I don't like getting out of my bed to turn off the TV at night, I just turn off the DirecTV box and let the monitor power save. But immediately after doing so, you have to shield your eyes. The bright blue screen of retina death lasts about 5 seconds.
Overall Review: Since this thing wasn't sold as an HDTV, the cons aren't deal breakers for me. I am very happy with these monitors overall.
Ordered in March 2011, died in September of 2012

Pros: I bought this product for the price. I needed a small drive for the OS on my home server. 32 GB was plenty. Everyone talked about SSD's being reliable, low power. Since the disk was primarily just getting an OS, I jumped on board. The reviews were good, and the price was right, so I picked it up to the cart. Installed Linux, and my server would boot in 10 seconds. The drive was fast (though it was a Fedora Minimal Install).
Cons: Died way before it's prime. I bought 2 WD Green 2TB drives to go in this box as well, and both of those are still fine.
Overall Review: I was happy with the drive until it died. I have not yet attempted to contact Patriot, but I figure since it's more than a year old I'm probably on my own.
