Pros: Thick dense foam backing keeps it laying flat. Can be cut easily to size with a fabric cutting wheel or sharp razor knife. Large enough to accommodate both keyboard and mouse, and still be able to navigate dual displays.

Cons: May be difficult to get a clean cut with scissors
