Pros: Fast, quite (most of the time), with only one problem.

Cons: I purchased 3 of these for separate external backup usage. I never take them anywhere, there in the same place ever since I took them out the box and put them into the Rosswell ext. Hard Drive Case. One of the three HD is making a some what loud clicking noise from time to time. Although it still works just as the others do. Maybe I just received a one in a 20,000 ?

Overall Review: Although I have this current problem after 2 months of purchase I would still recommend WD

Pros: Looks real nice, price is o.k. for the unit it self, eay to setup.

Cons: GUI requires to much time to configure and load, Hard Drives become literately hot to the touch, Extremely poor ventilation poor ventilation for hard drives and unit it self. I recommend this for the advanced user!!

Overall Review: this might/should help with ventilation . . . Take off the rear hard drive covers to allow better cooling. This should cool down hard drives some what.

Pros: No problems with USB3 or actual cooling of the hard drive

Cons: Ihad the enclosure for two weeks now. Out the box I put the hard in the enclosure, powered up, and the fan was rubbing against the housing. No problem it ”MIGHT” of happened during shipment (newegg pack it to good for it to be damaged during shipment) or production. So I slightly bent it back into place set it up, downloaded a couple of movies to it via USB3, no further issues, disconnected the enclosure, and put it away. Next day I needed to drop a few more files to it, turned it on and the fan was once again rubbing on the housing. Bent it back, ect. two days later same thing. I guess this is a drive enclosure that was meant to be left in one place and left alone.

Overall Review: For the price you cant really beat it at the moment.

Pros: Looks nice, Once PCI-Express Graphic card is installed, you only have one PCI slot available.

Cons: I never had a chance to test the machine do to it arriviing dead (DOD). Maybe the post office through it around during shipping"?"
