Not enough Bang

Pros: Fastest by GHz in class, cheaper but solid model in the core series. One of the best cheaper processors for a media PC, for normal computer, or small personal server uses.
Cons: Actually worse than the 3225. This processor is essentially a slightly faster version of the 3220.
Overall Review: If you're going for more oomph, you're probably better off upgrading to the i5 series for quad core with more MB cache. The 3225 is better for a non-discrete graphics solution, because the 3220 and 3240 has Graphics 2500, which is considerably less capable than the 4000 that is the standard on the i3 3225 and most i5 series. Although it takes a few months into product lines to flesh out all the different models, at this point, anyone might as well wait for the 4th gen i3 that hits somewhere around May-June 2013. Still, if you need a processor now, and don't care about the best integrated graphics solution, pick up the i3 3220 instead of this 3240. It's almost $50 cheaper on average, and has the same stats except for 200MHz or so.
Does not work with Windows 8.1

Pros: I'm sure it works fine with Windows 7, and maybe even Windows 8. It has good antennas that probably work much better than a USB adapter.
Cons: I had to find the drivers online, and the manufacturer and other reviews pointed me to other companies using the same chipset for drivers. I found this unacceptable, along with that it didn't declare it's (in)compatibility in the Newegg description or specifications. When I put this in the intended computer, it worked with Windows 8, but after the 8.1 upgrade, it stopped working in various ways: 1. Computer sometimes would bluescreen as Windows started on boot. 2. Once in Windows, would eventually bluescreen. 3. When trying to install drivers, would bluescreen. Directed to online location with drivers, drivers did not work. Other company had drivers supposedly compatible with 8.1, would install only to not function properly; not maintain connectivity.
Overall Review: Lack of support for this device makes this a suggested no-buy. I would recommend going with an Intel chip to also gain bluetooth anyway, or stick with a netgear/linksys product. Moreso, just buy the newest model of any product line you can to ensure compatibility. I am a support technician at a major institution and deal with many hardware types on a daily basis, in addition to the personal assistance I provide to individuals not related to my job. If I can't get this to work properly, and I've reached my effort limit, I would not recommend this to anyone with exceptional patience and technical expertise.
Fast, Capacity

Pros: Great that it comes with an adapter, but I put this in my cell phone. Fast data transfer and greatly increased the capacity, allowing me to migrate all media and some apps. Apps run just fine off this fast, responsive card
Cons: None, unless you're looking for a USB adapter.
Overall Review: 32GB is the cutoff for some phone compatibility, so make sure you check your phone for the size of memory cards it supports!
Value, speed, compatibility

Pros: Works great in a 5 year old HP laptop, even with HP being known for enforcing use of specific parts. Low Voltage RAM can be more stable than classic 1.5v Excellent value for 8GB
Cons: None
Overall Review: The old laptop can use all 8GB, but it may be clocking it down to 1066 or 1333. Still, that shows the flexibility of the product!
Excellent Value

Pros: Perfect size for a small desktop/laptop upgrade. I replaced a mechanical 5400 RPM WD Blue drive in a 5 year old HP laptop and it runs great now. The warranty gives peace of mind, should there be any problems.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I used 3rd party software to clone the original drive after shrinking the free space, and with the user's minimal requirements, this was more than adequate size. After the transfer, I had to run the recovery/reinstall utility from the OEM partition, because Windows would not work without a "reinstall." The user retains the original hard drive to use again if we ever have to warranty the SSD.
Fantastic power supply, fast shipping
The item arrived very quickly, within a week of purchase. I purchased an expensive 850w EVGA Platinum certified power supply. I am very happy with the product and the transaction. I had to replace a case and power supply in a home data server that was damaged when my apartment flooded a few weeks ago. I decided to upgrade and get a more efficient, better quality power supply. This item has an eco mode that turns off the fan if not needed. While I am not overly concerned with my power consumption, I decided to enable it, because if the fan doesn't need to spin, it will probably last longer. Since my case has 3 120mm fans in it already, I don't think I need to rely on the power supply to vent heat from the case as much. Would recommend high quality items like this to anyone that wants to use less electricity, create less heat, and feel confident that properly regulated power is feeding into your device.
Got a deal with this excellent seller
I found this for $10 off plus free shipping. Extremely pleased with transaction and shipping speed of this 3rd party seller. Would highly recommend other products from this seller. Toynk Toys and Costumes had the same service excellence I have come to expect across the Newegg website.
