FANTASTIC monitor for the price

HP Pavilion 32Q 32" 2560x1440 2K Resolution 60Hz 7ms 2xHDMI DisplayPort Anti-Glare Screen Backlit LED LCD Monitor
HP Pavilion 32Q 32" 2560x1440 2K Resolution 60Hz 7ms 2xHDMI DisplayPort Anti-Glare Screen Backlit LED LCD Monitor

Pros: I've had this for about five months and it's been great. I love the size and resolution. Picture quality and color quality are great. The stand is sturdy and compact. I'm sure there are better monitors out there but this one is very good and it's amazing for the price. I was upgrading from a 24" 1920x1200 screen and the additional real estate is great. I don't want or need a 4k or 5k screen, and the 92ppi pixel density makes everything a bit bigger and easier to read compared to 100ppi+ screens. (For example, a 27" screen at 2560x1440 would be 109ppi.) I use this for MS Office, coding, Photoshop, etc. I also use it for watching online video from major streaming services, both sitting in front of it and at regular TV-viewing distance. There is no ghosting or smearing of the picture when watching video. Update, June 5, 2019: I've had it for over a year and it's still great. Not a single problem since the first day's jittery video issues. I'll probably buy another soon for another computer in the house.

Cons: The stand is not adjustable in height or angle but I'm happy with its defaults. The only thing I miss is that it doesn't have built-in speakers or a way to mount any.

Overall Review: On the first day the video was a little jittery but I turned it on and off a couple times and rebooted my machine (a 2012 Mac mini) and it has not had a single problem since. It sometimes takes a few seconds to show a picture and it sometimes briefly shows an old image but that might be my Mac behaving strangely. Note that some systems can not run this display at full resolution over HDMI. Be sure to buy a quality DisplayPort cable to use with this because some cheap cables can not send a 2560x1440 @ 60hz signal reliably. I'd prefer it if the controls were on the front instead of the back, but it's not horrible.
