Great Buy

Pros: The HDD has a small, sleak exterior that is not obtrusive. It runs quiet and cool. I run WinXP/SP2 and setup was non existant, just plug and play. The USB 2.0 connection makes tranfering files very quick. And, as usual Newegg shipping was fantastic. I ordered it on a friday morning and with default shipping I received it that following monday.
Cons: The HDD does come formatted as FAT32, which I'm not very fond of. So, the first thing I had to do before I could start using it was to reformat it to NFTS. Since, this HDD is a 500g monster (actually it's more like 465g) it took about an hour or so. Other than that, this I have no problems with this drive what so ever.

Pros: - Significantly smaller than my old EVGA 8800 GT and the ATI 5000 series cards. - Fits easily into my Antec 300 mid tower. - Installation was quick and painless. - While idling, the card is very quiet and cool. The tower makes no audible noise from 2+ feet away, and the card idles around 33ºC. - Somewhat audible under load, but much quieter than other cards of comparable horsepower. Load temps will vary depending on case and cooling, but mine has yet to go above 75ºC. - Games run great. Starcraft 2, Bad Company 2, and Metro 2033 all run smoothly at high settings.
Cons: - The card takes up two PCI slots.
Overall Review: The one con I have for this card is a minor one. Most mid to high-end videocards today take up two PCI slots. And, if you're someone who actually needs the horsepower of a card that does, you probably already have accounted for this. Overall, the card is great. Low power draw, easily overclockable, stock cooling works great, and powerful enough to handle the latest games today by itself. The real kicker for me is its SLI capabilities. Toms Hardware and Techspot both have done a review of two GTX 460s in SLI, and the performance to price ratio is simply fantastic. I plan to get another one soon for SLI.
