StarTech.com ATX24POWEXT 8 in. Power Extension Cable for 24 pin ATX 2.01 Motherboards Female to Male
StarTech.com ATX24POWEXT 8 in. Power Extension Cable for 24 pin ATX 2.01 Motherboards Female to Male

Pros: This is a basic cable especially good for the new style of cases that have the PSU positioned at the bottom of the case.

Cons: Price, no reason should this cost $15.99 + Shipping, also its not even sleeved.

Overall Review: Does its job, simple.

Negative Reviews

Cooler Master Nepton 280L - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 280mm Radiator and 2 JetFlo Fans
Cooler Master Nepton 280L - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 280mm Radiator and 2 JetFlo Fans

Pros: Supports all major sockets even some that have been EOL'd. Quiet (redesigned) pump/block, with microchannel (you'll have to read up on that). FEP tubing, with semi-rigid ribbed plastic sheath. Supports 120mm & 140mm fans in push, pull or push/pull configuration. Includes some high-performance 140mm's for good cooling (not necessairly silent but for performance... really).

Cons: Compatibility in almost all cases, now this really isn't a con because you KNOW its size before purchase. I do too, getting this off a diff site because I get 2 day free shipping there. But I know this will NOT mount in my case so an external (modification) mount will have to be done.

Overall Review: The one other reviewer (at this time) knocks this setup due to CFM. If you're going to get down to just CFM then clearly you lack any/all knowledge of these AIO devices. What really matters is performance and noise, depending on how hardcore you want to be 'noise' isn't an issue. But this setup will do well in both areas as indicated in the multitude of sites that reviewed this exact product. According to all the review sites this is the highest performing AIO setup, also the noise/performance ratio was top too. I would advise everyone to check out Tomshardware (site) and read the review... You'll be impressed. P.S. Please disregard the foolish review that knocks this setup, clearly a fanboi of the 'other guys' and highly uneducated. CFM is not a metric used to rate these units.

Nice

ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: Huge, pure copper, quiet at low-1/3 speed, moderate brightness LED, remote speed control and splitter so you can still monitor fan speed, the bottom was so polished that you could have used it as a mirror.

Cons: ADM Athlon X2 64 5000+ using an overclock profile of +5%, motherboard temp = 80*F, cpu idle temp 96*F 130 load, with fan on lowest. Max rpm and idle it runs at 89*F and 127*F load. Thats weak if you ask me.

Overall Review: Not a con, just a caution the fins are sharp, but like a knife you can gram them just don't slide your fingers or you will impale yourself.

Fans!

Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E 120mm Case Fan
Scythe S-FLEX SFF21E 120mm Case Fan

Pros: Quiet, low profile, molex - 3pin converter, move 49cfm at a moderately audible sound level.

Cons: 1 out of 4 had an odd noise like the blade was touching something so I removed the fan from the case and the sound persisted, when I shut the fan off the noise quit the other 3 fans are cake tho.

Overall Review: 5 eggz on the fans that work as expected, 3 for the noisy one. And for $15 per fan its worth it for the good ones. I wont RMA the noisy one, I'll put up with it cuz its still quieter than the old one it replaced.

SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT 550W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-550HT 550W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Tons of hookups, nice wattage and 80+ cert, quiet. When running I cant even feel any heat coming out of the back of this thing so that means 1 of 2 things, 1) the fan doesn't work, 2) it wont get hot till i run my computer 24/7 for the rest of the year.

Cons: The 3.33v was dead on @ 3.33v, the 5.00v was @ 4.98v, and the 12.00v was @ 11.84v in the bios & in windows using the Probe II on an AUSU mobo.

Overall Review: I don't know what 12v means but I know its not 11.xx something. I'm going to run some stress tests for 1 full week to see if i can break this thing, so far its not doing any better than my 'el cheapo' $40 550w PSU that this replaced.

Functional

Sunbeam RHK-EX-SV Rheobus-Extreme 5.25" Bay 4 Channel 30W Fan Controller Panel
Sunbeam RHK-EX-SV Rheobus-Extreme 5.25" Bay 4 Channel 30W Fan Controller Panel

Pros: Nice aluminum with plexy finish, nice LED indicators under the plastic knobs that brighten the more you turn the fan up and high thermal ratings 30W per channel <-- what the instructions said.

Cons: Cheap feeling knobs other than that its a buy.

Overall Review: This thing works ok, the LEDs under the fan apeed knobs are BRIGHT at anything past 1/2-MAX. Great if its not eye level or in you peripheral cause if you turn off the lights this thing will blind.
