Works Great
Pros: On 64 bit vista, this installed fine without using the cd. Windows update later suggested a newer version of the driver, which also worked fine. Super responsive, shuts off when not in use to save battery, and the range seems the same as on 360 itself. Recommended.
Cons: Would be better as a usb dongle, the 10 foot cable is too much. Also, the analog shoulder triggers are odd, they act as a single analog slider rather than two.
Overall Review: After initial testing, i tore it open, shortened the wire to a nub, then installed it internally in my media center pc. Only issue when doing this is making the sync button accessible or running leads to another button.
Perfect for PS3
Pros: Supports everything a PS3 would possibly need. Very cheap compared to buying it at a game store. Perfect picture and sound quality.
Cons: none
Perfect
Pros: I was doubtful that the sticky pad for holding the kindle in place would actually be a good solution but it was easy to use and has held in place just fine since the first time I tried it. The magnetic clasp works well too.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I assume the sticky pad can only be reused a certain number of times before it stops working...?
Seems effective
Pros: Easy to install, smooth surface (not sticky at all, so it handles pants pockets well), works with the extended battery pack fine, all ports and buttons reachable, fits fine in my adjustable clamp car dock
Cons: Not sure if I can remove it without breaking the case. It has what i think is a spot to open it with the edge of a coin but when i tried it gave a lot of resistance so i stopped. This might be a dealbreaker for people swapping batteries often!
Overall Review: Carbon Fiber is the color only- it has nothing to do with the material composition!
Pros: - Plug & go - Full keyboard layout, no f-key goofiness - Feels like a normal keyboard, not a laptop one - Easy to reach power switch - Seems as fast as a wired one - Optional stand-up legs - Tested 20 ft away, without a line of sight to receiver
Cons: None yet
Fantastic
Pros: Very fast, great for gaming and multithreaded programming projects. It was much easier to install the stock heatsink than my previous c2d build.
Cons: Stock CPU fan + stock MSI bios controlling the fan = lots of fan noise while gaming. I used speedfan to cap the CPU fan speed at 75% and it is much better!
Overall Review: Be use to look at the "core" temperatures when using tools like speedfan and amd overdrive, I think it gives a better idea of the operating temperature... I am impressed with the two types of throttling it does: Overclocking when only a few cores are needed, and underclocking everything when idle. It is very fast at adjusting to what is needed and the AMD overdrive tool made it easy to tweak the multipliers for these scenarios.
