Pros: Effortless install. Instant recognition from the leopard. 400% increase in performance from the standard 1GB the imacs ship with. Its a sin that apple charges $800 for this upgrade.

Cons: none. just make sure you keep the factory installed memory somewhere that you can remember because apple will insist upon the original memory being installed during any service that needs to be done. luckily they have no problem with the use of 3rd party memory such as this... as long as its installed correctly.
