NOT AS GOOD AS LINUX MINT 9

Pros: My wife's Quicken will work on Windows. Some very good free stuff will work on Windows (cdex). I got it for $85 shipped. Will need to have it around for the next 10 years...sigh...

Cons: From start to finish it took 4 hours to install on a 500 GB hard drive! Windows is still a sitting duck for Viruses , Malware. Spyware and Trojans even with Microsoft Security Essentials installed. (free) wHAT'S UP WITH THAT FIRST SPLASH SCREEN? NO INFO AT ALL AND THEN 10 MINUTES LATER IT STARTS TO INSTALL. LOL.

Overall Review: A few hours spent with Windows always makes me appreciate LINUX MINT 9 so much more! FREE. Fast booting. Quick executing. Safe. Always safe... One of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World!
