Pros: I still use these 10,000RPM drives. Best mechanical drives (ever) made
Pros: Straight plug and play. Easy bclk OC to 3900.
Pros: no problem booting at XMP timings on a R5E. Easy 3200c16 on strap 100! Amazing Ram!
Pros: Great 4x4 kit. easily runs 3333c16T1 on a RVE
Cons: none (well... except the color)
Pros: runs 3000c14 with minor tweaking, 3200c14 with modest voltage ;-). and 3333c16 at the same. Maybe I got lucky with the ICs, but so far corsair ddr4 has been stellar.
Overall Review: R5E, 5960X
Pros: Single card performance is fantastic. I have 3 in tri-sli for 4K gaming. Absolutely astonishing frame rates.
Cons: c'mon Asus... stickers on the mount screw? If you put out an enthusiast card, no Fischer-Price stickers please. We'd like to upgrade the TIM and MAYBE use a water block. It's your flagship 980 ferchrisakes. Don't handcuff it. Probably the main reason folks go with EVGA instead of this card.
Pros: performs flawlessly at rated speed and at 3000 with tighter timings at 1.35V
Overall Review: tried another brand 3000MHz 4x4 kit and disappointed. First time this "other" brand has disappointed me.
Pros: air, water, dice or LN2. This card will do (almost) anything you ask. Running tri-sli.. and with the exception that powering 3 kingpins needs 2 PSUs (3 pcie per card), it - they - fly through anything at 4K resolution.
Pros: replaced 2x8G hyperX 2133c11 with this kit. Immediately @ 1866c9, no doubt these will do 2133c10 at ~1.5V.
excellent low voltage and low latency ram!
Cons: zero (so far)
Pros: Crystal clear, good colors for a TN panel. Very fast RT, no lag at all. Runs 4K60 perfectly off SLI titans or 295x2. Replaced a 30" HP 1600P. Runs across the room from a Seiki 50" 4K30 panel. :-)
Pixel density is stupid high!!
Cons: Stand is typical Samsung - weak. No VESA mounts. Arrived with menu in Korean... had to blindly poke around to find the language settings. Samsung should have used universal symbols in the default shipping configuration... unless this was intended to be a "Local" market product only.
Pros: perfect to drive a 1600P display via DP for productivity work on a older QX9550 rig now relegated to "office" work.
started right up, running an HP30zwr no problem.
Pros: none - not a single one.
Cons: The second - replacement - stick failed in the same manner. A-Data customer service is incompetent. Sends me an email without the needed RMA form. And entering the case number in the website does nothing.
A-Data failed to resolve the problem, and their RMA service is dysfunctional. surprising incompetence and poor website for a tech company.
I have several USB3.0 sticks from other manufacturers that work fine. Trying A-Data was my mistake.
Overall Review: Very disappointed in this company.
Pros: overclocking very well. 47-49 easy.
Cons: not one. very fast processor!
Pros: sorted it out. still issues with phase and LLC (instant restarts.. no codes to work from). Can work LLC if phasing is left on auto.
all the tweaks you could dream of... not all work ATM.
Cons: updated bios please...
Overall Review: excellent MB.
Pros: Pretty quick. Drivers need a little work. Compares well to my other cards (7970's GTX Titans, 2x CFX and SLI)
Fan is loud if you push the card. Sapphire should provide an unlocked bios.
Cons: louder than a hair dryer when spun up
Pros: plenty of connectors
but not enough amps per rail
Cons: too many rails. This PSU was able to run crossfire 7970s... but blew after about a year. Silverstone sent me a replacement under warranty, and this "new" unit is not able to run even ONE OVERCLOCKED GTX TITAN. Forget 2 titans. Even splitting it up as a two PSU rig - with one card on my PC Power and Cooling 1200 and the other on this ST1500 - this replacement shuts down, while the PC&P unit, which is powering the OCd 3930 and a titan does fine.
Overall Review: Just not enough amps (only 25A) on each rail. Using two rails on one card and it fails! Yes - I know a heavily OCd Titan can draw 900W - this PSU cannot handle it.
Also - lots of "snap and crackle" in the replacement Silverstone sent.
I WAS a fan of Silverstone products however, this experience has changed that.
Pros: Easy setup, nice tray included.
AND very fast!!
Overall Review: I have 4 Plextor SSDs: 2x128s, 1x256, and this 512. These are the best SSDs made. (period)
Pros: Very flexible timings.
Cons: none - cept, don't need the fans
Overall Review: 2133 at 9-11-11
2400 at 10-12-12
2600 at 11-13-13 (working to stabilize - it's my CPU)
Asus p9x79-E WS, 3930K@5.0
Pros: eh, tech-no mike: Wrong.
Cons: absolutely none. ranks in top 10 of all benchmarks and runs ivy-e like any other asus x79.
Overall Review: dontja just hate these "high teck knowledge" self-rated trolls?
Pros: Nice blue color (lol)
Cons: Started getting app errors and inability to repeat benchmarks. Reran memtest - now they are throwing errors like crazy! Swapped out for another set of 2133 I had around - those pass so it's not the IMC on this 3770K. Surprised - GSkill is usually quality.
Overall Review: RMA time
Pros: Pretty motherboard... The OC Formula does not OC all that well.
Cons: Very bad bios coding, unstable dram volts (higher than bios setting) glitchy vcore settings with offset, very poor LLC implementation... Yeah, the v-probe read point accurately shows the poor voltage and current management by bios. Asrock should hire professionals/engineers for quality craftsmanship.
Why would anyone buy a signature z87 after this sloppy work?
Pros: Strong, quiet, plenty of cables. My mobo uses both 8 pins + the ATX. no extra "fixed" cables laying about. Plently of molex, sata etc. If this holds uip to PC Power's rep (since bought buy OCZ) you can't go wrong.
Modular cables have a much better connector than all other offerings (which use the Ultra patented form factor)
Overall Review: not at all large. my Silverstone 1500 is much longer.
if you need (or think you need) 1200W, this is the one.
Pros: Great mouse.
Brian -you DO know that the click wheel and free spin wheel is a toggle button on the mouse - right?
Pros: Works great. Will allow you to shut the fans down completely unlike some other controllers. Easily spinns up two Vantec Tornado 90mm blowers... to a screeching whine, but will run them as silently as they can be run.
Cons: none whatsoever.
Pros: Plug and play. no issues whatsoever.
Cons: Does not come with a bay adaptor
