Logitech Supra-aural PC Headset 960 USB
Logitech Supra-aural PC Headset 960 USB

Pros: Very lightweight, I hardly notice they are there. Microphone is nice and loud, I've had headsets before that didn't have good microphone quality or it wasn't loud enough.

Cons: Not as good sound quality as I had hoped, music sounds washed out and video games don't sound as good as they did with old fashioned stereo headsets. I'm no expert in sound but from what I can tell I think it has trouble reproducing bass. Also I've been through about four or five headsets in the past three years and all of them were pretty sturdy but this headset seems relatively flimsy, I really expected something solid from Logitech despite the price.

Overall Review: They are cheap and work good, especially if you are only going to use them to chat or play games that are not very heavy on sound; like MMORPGs.

Did not work

Kingston ValueRAM 512MB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 266 (PC 2100) Laptop Memory Model KVR266SO/512R
Kingston ValueRAM 512MB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 266 (PC 2100) Laptop Memory Model KVR266SO/512R

Pros: None

Cons: I tried installing this in a Dell Inspiron 5100 and it did not work; I tried it in a number of different configurations and the system refused to recognize it so I sent it in for an RMA and when I received a new one I had the same results.

Overall Review: Unfortunately I cannot get another RMA or refund as the item was originally purchased more then 30 days ago. I wish I had known I'd be unable to return a recent return.

Works good

SIIG SC-SA0R11-S1 PCI-Express 2.0 x2 Low Profile Ready SATA III (6.0Gb/s) 4-Port Hybrid RAID Controller Card
SIIG SC-SA0R11-S1 PCI-Express 2.0 x2 Low Profile Ready SATA III (6.0Gb/s) 4-Port Hybrid RAID Controller Card

Pros: I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about but I saw all the bad reviews and felt compelled to add my two cents; I've had mine for about two years working with four Western Digital Se drives in a RAID 1+0 configuration and have never had it fail or cause me other problems, and unlike software RAID I really don't have to worry if the underlying OS can support the RAID setup since this hardware RAID card will expose the underlying disks as one single hard drive. Being exposed as one drive at the hardware level is really convenient when switching back and forth between Windows and Linux, and particularly on Linux since the drive is seen as a /dev/sd* disk rather than numerous odd named disks like with software RAID.

Cons: Marvell tray monitor software seems rather unstable and reading the SMART status of the physical disks is somewhat cumbersome.

Overall Review: I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into RAID without spending hundreds of dollars, and you will notice a significant performance difference at a fraction of the price of a equivalent SSD setup. At this price point it might be a good idea to buy two or three as a backup just in case, or otherwise regularly backup important data, which is what prompted me to come back here and see all the reviews I mentioned earlier because I'd like to buy a couple more for just-in-case.

Excellent

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: The hard drives are excellent, work as expected, perform well and there were no surface errors on either of the discs.

Cons: None that I can think of

Overall Review: I bought two of them to run in a RAID-1 configuration.

Pure 120% Awesome

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100259-1GL
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100259-1GL

Pros: This card is made of pure awesome, and definitely more powerful then the price, which is unusual for video cards. I can run anything on this card with settings maxed out with a smooth FPS, including some notorious titles such as; FarCry 2, Crysis and World in Conflict. According to NewEgg's guidelines I can't make comparisons but I'll just say that this card sells for a fraction of the price of a popular brand out there, but with the same performance and less heat and power consumption. I was initially hesitant, but I do not regret moving to ATi one bit.

Cons: None that I can think of, although I've heard horror stories about Sapphire's tech support but thusfar I haven't had to contact them, and I hope I don't have to.

Overall Review: There is also a 2 GB version of this card if this one is not awesome enough for you.
