G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB

Pros: Great looking RAM and performs even better. Boots up at 2133 and changing to XMP profile it goes up to 3200. 16GB is plenty for gaming and basically any user.

Cons: Wish timings were lower, but then I would just pay more

G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM570 MX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red
G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM570 MX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red

Pros: First impression is it looks and feels high quality. The smooth finish makes me feel good just looking at it but once I started typing it went to another level. This is like the Steinway of mechanical keyboards. The quality seems so good I think even if purposely abused it could last forever. The case is sturdy, could probably drop it many times without a problem. The braided cable is great and also anti-tangle. The back-lighting looks awesome. It is a perfect spread; I've had some keyboards where the LED can be seen at an angle so it blinds the eye a little bit. This one is perfectly spaced so each key is lit along with the space in between so overall brightness and color is uniform. Brightness can be adjusted on the fly with the dedicated control button. Since it is a standard size keyboard, they had to find other ways to accommodate necessary functions such as Macros, Volume, Windows key lock, N-key rollover, LED brightness, and so forth. Very cool shortcut methods to save space instead of having extra keys and taking up space. The functions are also printed on the keys so it's easy to get use to on the fly. Keyboard was quickly recognized by Win 7 and works without G.Skill software. Installed the G.Skill software to control lighting and customize settings without a problem. Everything took about 10 minutes to complete so set up is very simple. For someone that just wants a powerful version of a standard sized keyboard, this is it. Very low key appearance, and ergonomic.

Cons: None, I got exactly what I wanted.

Overall Review: Cherry MX Red switches feel great. $10 discount by NewEgg also feels great. Shipping was very fast, so overall this was a great purchase and experience for me. Thanks G.Skill and Egg!

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model F4-3000C15D-16GVGB
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model F4-3000C15D-16GVGB

Pros: DDR4-3000, good for any Z170 or X99 chip set, and I'm sure for the upcoming releases as well. Looks awesome with the EVGA Z170 FTW; color matches very well Runs perfectly with the EVGA Z170 FTW; system is very stable so I may venture into overclocking. RAM is always cool to touch, so I think there is major headroom for OC. Will post an update with results

Cons: Not cons, but some details people may not be aware of unless system building for a living: ~One thing I noticed is CPU temp goes up when XMP is enabled, so buyers beware, aftermarket CPU cooler may be necessary for DDR4-3000+ (maybe even lower). ~I don't want no trouble, so I used parts on manufacturer list. It would be embarrassing for them to list it but not work, so based on that logic I went with qualified parts. ~This RAM is not plug and play. It booted as DDR4-2133, which is normal according to my research. Then after I enabled XMP and restart, it shot up to DDR4-3000 C15.

Overall Review: No crash, no BSOD, no problems. Rock solid RAM Played for few hours and it is very fast Couldn't have expected better

ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor
ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor

Pros: Needed a new monitor for a build I am doing for my nephew for his schoolwork. Tested it out and picture was clear and colors seemed fine. It came with plenty of cables. The speakers sound pretty good as well.

Cons: Don't really think there are any cons. This monitor has been great for me so far.

Overall Review: I don't like the flap on the back of the monitor covering all the connection ports, but I guess I can live with it since I shouldn't need to mess with the cords anyways.

G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM780 MX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red with Gaming Keycaps
G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM780 MX Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Cherry MX Red with Gaming Keycaps

Pros: Love the way it types. Makes me feel like a baus. Discovered this keyboard from a friend and I had to get it. Bright LEDs are set up to appear like an EQ display, really neat if you ask me. Maybe G.Skill can beat match LEDs with music in a future software update? That would make this keyboard ridiculously cool!! Software is easy and straight forward. Based on their website, it looks like they are updating it quite a bit so that's a good sign this is not just another SKU. There are so many details put into this motherboard I doubt many people will even get to all of them. The red gaming keys, the mouse wire guide/holder, hand rest, macro keys, media keys, USB pass-through, audio jacks, and more. Don't overlook the Windows lock, LED dimmer, and timer key on the keyboard. There are so many options and features it can be easy to miss and not put into use.

Cons: Instruction manual to explain all the details could help a lot of users I think. Some 'hidden' features took some figuring out because the manual didn't even mention it

Overall Review: Bang for the buck high end, full-feature keyboard. Can't really go wrong with what you get, what it can do, and what it looks like. Thank goodness someone finally made a keyboard that doesn't look box boring. Kudos to designers that don't think normal

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C17D-16GVK
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C17D-16GVK

Pros: Runs perfect, no errors using Gigabyte Z170X-SOC FORCE and 6700K. The Force is real. Awesome heat spreaders to match with case and motherboard. The price is much lower than what I expected for a memory kit of this caliber. DDR4 seems to be becoming much more affordable recently.

Cons: Don't expect any

Overall Review: Have not had a chance to overclock these just yet but I am excited and look forward to seeing what they are capable of. 3700 is crazy fast but I'm going to see if they can be pushed beyond 4000. Should be a lot of fun, I'll post results once I get some data.
