Pros: Cheap. Quality. Looks Nice. Made in USA. A great way to support Newegg for being an awesome company. Works immediately with no hiccups and no questions asked.
Overall Review: When I buy a flash drive, it's not all about speed, I just want something that works. This does just that, it works and looks nice doing it. The drive looks nice and the LED is nice and bright. You could attach it to a keyring, although I've heard bad things about that with other drives of the similar design (The thin plastic breaks) but no complaints about that with this drive that I know of. The fact that it's made in USA it a nice added bonus, and I love to support a great company like newegg by buying their own brand of product.
Not Worth It
Pros: The drive is fast and it is cheap.
Cons: The freezing and random reboots and pains of installation.
Overall Review: This is the third review I'm writing for this drive. In earlier reviews, I proposed fixes for everyone having the problems with this drive. My drive came with firmware 2.11 (at the time the newest). I still had restarts and whatnot. I changed my sata controller driver from msahci, and it brought the drive up to being reliable (it would still hang occasionally, but then recover). With firmware 2.13, I went for the flash. Then, wondering if I could revert to the msahci driver, I changed my sata controller driver. The random restarts began all over again. I switched back to the iastor (intel storage driver), and presto, everything is working properly. It seems the new firmware ever removed the occasional hanging the system was doing. At this point this drive seems to be performing at 100% Takeaways from my experience: 1. This drive is NOT worth the time and hassle. Wow, did I lose a ton of time upgrading this. 2. Use the iastor driver. It fixed everything immediately!
Seemed So Good
Pros: Good price per Gigabyte Fanless Design is Nice Recognized Easily Seemed Fast
Cons: Hard Drive was bad - after loading 100 Gigs on it, read errors began. At first, just a few files weren't working. Within two hours the whole thing was bad. I tried chkdsking it, and got all tons of uncorrectable errors.
Overall Review: I usually swear by Western Digital, and one reviewer said that this external used a WD. I hope that reviewer is wrong, because I love my WDs.
Best Point and Shoot on the Market
Pros: Excellent picture clarity. An immense amount of features to control. Excellent size. Video is very good quality. Comes with a nice 1 Gig stick for you.
Cons: You have to pay for it.
Overall Review: Those of you who are complaining about wanting to tweak the camera more, put the camera into manual mode and all of the settings become available, such as forced flash and resolution settings. I already bought one, and then I'm buying a second. Although you get a free stick, I'd recommend the 2 gig Transcend stick with 150x write speed. You will not regret the choice.
This Is My Second
Pros: I'm no genius when it comes to flash cards, but I know a good one when I see one. This bad boy is lightning fast. I bought one for a brand new canon SD1000 (Awesome Camera) works great there. When i wanted something to try ready boost with, I knew what to go with. I had to reformat to make ready boost work, but now it's doing great. The price is phenomenal. Lifetime warranty.
Cons: None. Phenomenal Product.
Overall Review: If you want to stock up on great, fast, cheap, quality, SD cards, look no further.
