Pros: Slim and small, does the job fine.

Cons: Relies on USB power with only a 9 inch USB cord. I bought for use in the office by 3 people that occasionally need to read Blu-ray backup disks from the servers. Their computers are on the floor beside there desk, so with the sort USB cord, this is difficult to use. Has a plug-in for a not provided external power block, but doesn't say what to order or from where.

Overall Review: Plan on buying a power supply and a USB extender if you aren't using this on a PC or laptop sitting right next to your monitor or keyboard...

Pros: I have one that has been working great for a year. Power off the drive, swap it out, put in the new one and power it up. Very convenient.

Cons: 2 more arrived today for 2 more computers since the 1 I have is working so well. NO POWER BUTTONS ON ONE OF THEM. Not damaged - the buttons were not in the sealed plastic back with the unit; defective as in the manufacturer forgot to put them on. No way to turn the drives off and on to swap the drives. I paid a reasonable amount for them and shipping was also reasonable for the 2 of them. The shipping cost on the RMA more than the cost to ship the 2 originally from NewEgg. How is shipping 2 cheaper than shipping 1?

Overall Review: I don't know - do we consider 2 out of 3 devices purchased in working order a bad average? I will give it 3 stars because the, now 2, that I have that are complete work good.

Pros: Can connect to 2 computers, the reason we bought them.

Cons: Had difficulty setting up the 2 computer access. Once connected, the keyboard was slow to respond - click a letter and a second or two later, it shows on the TV. Touchpad was equally slow. Use requires a lot of patience. Tried charging them again and no difference.

Overall Review: In general, I would not recommend this keyboard & touchpad... unless you have the patience of a saint.

Pros: Caddy's slide in and out easily. Lock into place and power on. Great for hot swap.

Cons: You have to permanently mount the drives into a caddy with screws, unlike other drive enclosures that the drive slips into the caddy then pops into the computer. Problem is, I cannot find a decent source for additional caddys. Another online source has them for MORE than the entire unit costs at Newegg... And Newegg discontinued them. Even startech.com doesn't sell them, only provides the specs for them.

Overall Review: I need to rotate weekly onsite (4 Friday) and offsite (5 Saturday) backup hard drives... with 2 of these devices. I thought they were like my other hard drive enclosures, just having a caddy for the drive rather than sliding the drives in and out - more secure. However, taking out and unscrewing two drives Monday morning, screwing in two new drives and inserting them back into the backup server doesn't work for me. Anyone else needing to use these for multiple drives - avoid this at all costs, unless you want to buy a lot of them just so you have the additional caddys available. Because you can't just buy the caddys at a reasonable cost.

Pros: Plugged the 16 GB memory, video card and 480GB SSD in. Was a bit perturbed about not being able to install a DVD drive, but I had Windows on a USB drive already. After copying their driver DVD to a USB drive, Windows installed quickly and runs nicely. Everything else installed nicely after getting the external DVD.

Cons: Newegg still has the wrong memory listed - it uses 288 pin DDR4 SDRAM, not 260 pin SO-DIMM. After getting the Shuttle, I found the front of the case does not open (I didn't expect that). It has a nice large fan and aluminum plate covering the front except the USB/Speaker plugs at the bottom. NO DVD INSTALLATION POSSIBLE. But they did include the driver DVD, which took 40 minutes to copy to a USB 3 thumb drive. Waited on the arrival of an external USB DVD before I installed everything else. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry.

Overall Review: Not being able to install a DVD drive surprised me. We use these for presentations and a lot of our customers have their content on CD/DVD... Not sure if I am going to be able to continue with the Shuttle computers. Depends on how the external DVD handles their content.

Pros: Lots of SATA ports, which is why I purchased this to use as a FILE SERVER for my home.

Cons: Doesn't support Windows Server. Multiple multimedia enabled televisions, music players and computers and it won't allow an operating system that handles the connections. Useless for the purpose I purchased it. Why don't manufactures post what operating systems they will support? Would have been nice to know before wasting my time on this.

Overall Review: Wouldn't waste my money on it. Vista Drivers work for installing the RAID in Windows 2008 Server, but the RaidXpert will not install to manage the drives - will not support this version of Windows, and the Vista version that does install doesn't even see the array.

I ordered 2 HP Hard Drives. They arrived a day early in sealed HP boxes in perfect condition. Installed them in the server and everything is running perfectly. Highly recommend them for both quality and speed of service.

Great pricing on the 2 managed switches I ordered to replace switches damaged when one of the buildings was struck by lightning. The switches arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They are up and running in our remote buildings.

Ordered the firewall and it came quickly in perfect condition - and just in time. This was supposed to be a backup, but a lightning strike last week took out our current firewall. Restored the backup into this one and we are up and running. Of course, need to order another one... which I will do as soon as I finish typing this.
