Pros: recompiled xbmc with xvba and disable other hd accelerators. video playback with gnome-shell effects enabled is still very soft. i open cpu case and i can only hear my laptop's fan 5 meters away from me. 25-35*C cpu/gpu temp

Cons: famous linux distros like ubuntu and fedora having trouble starting x in their live cd/usb. i suspect its the fglrx for xorg make the system halt. but i dont have much time to inspect. i use xbmcbuntu to install, update LAN driver from realtek website because kernel driver is choppy. update system then install gnome-shell(3d) without tearin/slowing/lagging video playback. i've seen video tearing in unity(compiz) thats why i dont like it. i prefer gnome-shell than unity even on my intel graphics. opps

Overall Review: you can start xorg with fbdev/vesa first or download and install latest driver from amd or use jockey(-text/gtk). i would recommend this processor for HTPC!

Cons: wont put my monitor to sleep, but instead of "no cable plugged!" bouncing. roku to my tv wont authenticate hdcp. i tried both cables i bought but got the same results. i tried rosewill hdmi cable and no have no problem.

Pros: imagine that you are buying a 128-bit video card with 2GB VRAM for $70. silverlight and flash video streaming is flawless. tested lossless 1080p videos is very sweet! very capable of playing high definition movies. tried xbmcbuntu with tweaks to enable sound to analog/hdmi. faster than my broadcom crystalhd. i am after more on gpu performance than the cpu coz this is for my dedicated htpc on windows. WEI_Processor: 6.3 WEI_Gaming+Graphics: 6.5!!

Cons: this is still my 3rd day!! hope this will last for yrs.
