Pros: This is the second Pentax DSLR I have purchased. The 1st was the K100D which is very similar and was a workhorse camera in my business. I don't think you can get more bang for the $!!! The AA batteries are great and allow you to buy readily available and cheap batteries. The K2000 is to my mind a bit nicer than the K100D in terms of ergonomics.

Cons: Lens with this model isn't as nice as the one with the K100D and the K2000 is a lot lighter weight which may or may not please you.

Overall Review: Great entry level DSLR !!!
