Great Card

Pros: The card was packed very well by Sapphire for shipping. All connection/gizmos were there and undamaged. The overall performance of the card is A+. My VISTA graphics rating went up from 3.9 to 5.3 when I replaced my OEM Nvidia 8400GS. My framerate drops are now a thing of the past with Final Fantasy XI online. I’m max fps nearly 100% of the time now.
Cons: None so far. The card has been running rock solid ever since I installed it. I had zero trouble getting the card installed. Poped it in… installed the latest drivers from ATI website (not Sapphire)… and started playing. Whole process took about 10-15min tops.
Overall Review: This card is perfect for a low budget upgrade. Perfect for a direct OEM swap, as it pulls power directly from the board and does not require addition power from the power supply like the HD2900 XT. This way you don’t have to buy a new power supply to go with the card. Also, this card only takes up one bay/slot on the backplane. I bought this card to play FFXI online and that’s all. I plan to upgrade to a 3000 series ATI when they are released next year. Do your research before you buy a video card. Know what you have and what you need.
