AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6000CZBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2 125W Processor - ADX6000CZBOX

Pros: I own two Core 2 Duo machines but I decided to give AMD a try this time since the equavalent of intel's is about 100 bucks more. I was highly impressed! The stock heatsink is pretty beefy with all the copper heat pipes, it keeps it around 31C idle and 40C load. So far all my games are running flawlessly with no slowdowns. Love it!

Cons: Well the AMD sticker on the fan was off center but thats only cosmetic so it doesn't bother me.

Overall Review: Asus M2N32 SLI DX, AMD 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz, 2GB G-skill DDR 800, MSI 8600 GTS OC 256MB

Best mouse i've ever used!

Logitech MX 518 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1800 dpi Gaming Mouse
Logitech MX 518 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Optical 1800 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: Very high quality, very responsive... This mouse is just plain amazing!

Cons: it tends to collect dirt/grime more than other mice i've used. Even if I make sure to clean my hands before I use it I still have to clean it off every other week.

Overall Review: The best money i've ever spent. I love it!

Best card for the money!

SAPPHIRE 100242TXSR Radeon Toxic HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card
SAPPHIRE 100242TXSR Radeon Toxic HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card

Pros: Very nice card. The performance/price ratio simply can't be beat. I am getting smooth, playable framerates in Crysis on a mix of high/very high settings... And a 3DMark06 score of 12,000+... on a card that costs less than 200 dollars! What sets this card apart from the other 4850s is the cooling and overclocking. And the extra 20 bucks is certainly worth it! I love the Zalman cooler, keeps the card at 43C idle and 66C load. So in conclusion, buy it (if you can find any in stock)

Cons: No fan speed control (not that you need it anyway) Zalman cooler takes up two slots

Overall Review: System: ASUS M2N32 SLI DX, AMD X2 6000+ @3.3GHz, 2GB DDR-800, Sapphire Toxic ATI 4850 512MB

Great card!

VisionTek Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 900206
VisionTek Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 900206

Pros: Factory OC is nice, the best looking card of the 3850 bunch, thats mainly why i chose it.

Cons: Don't be fooled by looks, the heatsink is trash. its painted aluminum, not copper, and it doesn't make good contact with 3 of the 8 RAM chips and makes no contact at all with one of them its almost like this cooler wasn't made specifically for this board but made for another layout (2600xt)

Overall Review: I had a Zalman cooler on hand and i replaced it, Its a good board really, it overclocks very nicely, but i was just dissapointed with the cooler thats why i gave it 4 eggs

amazing value

Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus RS-460-PMSR-A3 460 W ATX12V V2.3 Power Supply
Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus RS-460-PMSR-A3 460 W ATX12V V2.3 Power Supply

Pros: Great PSU, all voltages are nowhere near their thresholds. my motherboard is reading 3.3, 4.95, and 12.05 for the voltages. all signs of a very solid and reliable power supply.

Cons: not much to look at. I'm not going to lie... its ugly compared to other more expensive units it looks like its missing two screws on the fan.

Overall Review: you get reliable power for a good price. AMD Athlon X2 6000+ @ 3.3GHz, ASUS M2N32 SLI DX, 2GB DDR2 800, ATI HD 3850 512MB

Doesn't even heat up to my old idle temp!

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm Ceramic CPU Cooler
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm Ceramic CPU Cooler

Pros: Very high quality for the price. included thermal compound works great, just as good as arctic silver 5 in my opinion. easy to install. And best of all its SILENT!!! The AMD stock cooler would heat my CPU up to 47C idle, and 58C load... But now with this cooler, my CPU never goes above 46C load, and idles at 34C Highly reccomended to anyone with the late model X2 6000/6400 dual cores, the stock cooler just doesn't cut it.

Cons: A bit large, not a con exactly, but i had to bend one of the aluminum fins on the cooler to get it to clear the heatpipe cooling my motherboard's chipset. not recommended for crowded cases.

Overall Review: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @ 3.3GHz - ASUS M2N32 SLI DELUXE - 2GB DDR2 800 - 8600GTS 256MB @ 777/1100
