Solid
Pros: Works great. price. Plugged and Played in Windows 10
Cons: none
Overall Review: none
Terrible-Newegg says it is non returnable.
Pros: Could use for wall mount but the desk stand is defective by design.
Cons: Stand does not fit. If you pick up the monitor the stand and base fall off. The manual mentions a screw (similar to the screws mentioned on all the other ACER monitors around this office.
Overall Review: This is a lemon that ACER was dumping on unsuspecting Christmas newbs.
cheap plastic disintigrates
Pros: works for a while
Cons: cheap plastic tip becomes brittle and disintegrates over time
Overall Review: don't buy
Crummy cloning software
Pros: Killer price.
Cons: Acronis 2016 I guess is what this is. I attempted a clone a Fujitsu 160g to WD drive. It Appeared to work but only gave me a 160 gig partition on the WD, a small weird looking partition after the 160 and then created the rest of the drive 300 gigs or so into a partiion I fixed all this by removing the WD, replacing it with a Samsung , using the Samsung software clone from the 160 partition to the Samsung and then rebooting and cloning the Samsung to a WD. Hence the title of this review.
Turned on. Sat there for hours with a grey screen and a mouse cursor and an occasional flash on the hard drive light.
Pros: I eventually forced a shutdown and the machine started reinstalling windows. Sort of worked for a while. USB ports worked sometimes. LED on mouse turned on intermittantly if I unplugged and plugged in enough times.
Cons: Did not work.No instruction manual at all. No recovery media. Maybe they blasted the wrong image on it and didn't bother to test it beyond that.
Overall Review: Once I figured out how to run the internal hardware diagnostics it actually passed but still wouldn't run windows.
no cloning software
Pros: low price per gig
Cons: no cloning software
Overall Review: no cloning software
