Reliable board but quirky
Pros: - Good bang for the buck - Full Featured
Cons: - Bios is quirky - USB 3.0 acts strange
Overall Review: I bought this board 1 year 2 months ago. The board has been reliable. I'm running an FX 6300 + windows 10. This board always works and starts right up. I've put this board under some pretty heavy duty use and it still clicks along. The board has exhibited a couple strange behaviors. The USB 3.0 ports (not the 2.0) seem glitchy, I'm not sure if this is the chipset either but yeah the 3.0 ports seem weak however they do work. I put a USB 3.0 port card in, problem solved. I've gotten the message at boot a few times "bios is being restored from backup" which is kind of odd. Message goes away and board keeps trucking. Bottom line is the board always boots. I have a ton of stuff plugged into this board, it all works.
Great little board
Pros: - Small footprint - Feature Rich
Cons: - Doesn't support 2GB sticks of ram - Doesn't support Windows 7
Overall Review: I can confirm this doesn't work with 2GB sticks of ram. I mention this because it doesn't show it on the specifications. It does say it in the manual though. Wasn't able to get Windows 7 to load on it. There may be a work around for this. I wouldn't give it a lower rating though because it doesn't support ancient. I was impressed at how well this board ran windows 10. It feels like there is plenty of horsepower. ASRock please make a version of this board with x6 PCIE slots of any kind. I would gladly pay twice the price. The specifications on this processor/chipset support x6 PCIE lanes.
Great router in a small package
Pros: Tiny footprint Very small overall Full featured Amazing for the price
Cons: Only x2 lan ports Antenna doesn't appear detachable
Overall Review: Plugged this router in and everything worked as expected, no surprises. I was a little skeptical because of the price and size but it has exceeded my expectations. I got this hooked up to a Motorola Surfboard with Roadrunner Lighting 35. I'm getting 55MB a sec download and 5 MB upload, works perfectly. I tested the wireless out with a smartphone connecting at the far side of the house. Wireless seems to work great, signal seems strong which BTW I have had problems with before on other routers. When I disabled the wireless on the router, it was truly disabled and no longer appeared on the wireless list. I plugged my Polycom internet phone into it and it started right up, no problems. The browser based router setup was nice and clean and has all features that you would expect.
Hard to beat for the price
Pros: Great performance per watt Solid Construction Robust Cooling Nice packaging
Cons: Didn't like the rebate thing, didn't bother
Overall Review: Bought this card about 1 year ago, computer is on 24/7, zero problems. Have played Eve, Planetside 2, Wasteland 2, Civ Beyond Earth, Mostly max settings, runs and looks great. This card is also at the top of the "price per watt" category over at Toms Hardware, still almost 1 year later, quite nice. To be honest I've sort of forgot about this card, I plugged it in, and it has never gave me a problem once, it just works.
