Awesome

MSI X99S XPOWER AC LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI X99S XPOWER AC LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great board. Booted up a 5960x with tri-SLI Titans, ZxR dedicated sound card, XP941 SSD without problems. Very stable so far, and looks great!

Cons: Command Center application keeps crashing on my system right now (Windows 8.1). Not enough to knock off an egg as its just a minor software issue that should be resolved soon. Otherwise I would really love to have this app running.

Overall Review: To those trying to get M2 to work - I got a XP941 working with this board, though it was not obvious but a bit of Google helped me out. In order to get my XP941 I had to do the following 1) Install Windows 8.1 onto a bootable USB 2) Update XPOWER bios to 1.3 or higher. 2) Inside of the XPOWER bios, change M2 State from SATA to PCIe. 3) Inside of the XPOWER bios, change SATA mode from ACHI to RAID. 4) When booting off the Windows 8.1 USB to install the OS, be sure to select the UEFI option, or it will not install to M2 drive. Do not try to format the M2 drive, just click "Next" when you see the drive available. 5) Windows will install and reboot and continue. That's it. I've had the XP941 working well with my setup and booting VERY quickly.

ASUS QA?

ASUS GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GTX670-DC2T-2GD5
ASUS GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card GTX670-DC2T-2GD5

Pros: It's a beast.. when it works?

Cons: My card also is not stable out of the box. Heaven crashes anywhere from 2-5 minutes in, and that's even with a custom fan profile not allowing the temperature to even reach 70C.

Overall Review: I am returning this replacement, but I may try to get it changed for refund, because looking around, it really looks like ASUS cut corners on QA because tons of people are having this issue. So, I'm not sure I want to chance getting another card like this...

Great Card

MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N670GTX-PM2D2GD5/OC

Pros: Very fast, and by far the quietest "blower" I have ever used. Runs Skyrim and BF3 amazingly at 1080P. 2GB is enough VRAM for a while at that resolution.

Cons: Gets a little hot (80C under load), but when do reference designs not? At least it stays pretty quiet. Other than that, none that I can think of.

Overall Review: I'm getting around a 25-30% performance boost from a GTX 480 which was clocked to 850mhz (so it was performing at 580 stock levels). Not bad.

Good Fans

Scythe SY1225SL12H "Slipstream" Case Fan

Pros: Do what they are supposed to, and look to be pretty durable. I have two these working as intakes in my P182 case.

Cons: RPM are not 1600... they are above 1800 by default making them a little bit loud. Luckily my P67 Sabertooth has built in fan control, and I run these near silent around 1400-1500 rpm.

Great Product

ECS GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N9600GT-512MX-P

Pros: I run this card passive in my P182 case at 38C! It never breaks 60C under load - what an amazing cooler. Saved me the hassle of eventually having to go out and get one myself. Runs Crysis all settings high well at 1680x1050.

Cons: None

Overall Review: The memory doesn't come at 1900MHz, mine actually runs 1850MHz by default. Core is 680MHz as advertised. No big deal. I actually did a quick test to see how far the card could go and ended up with 750MHz on the core, 1800MHz on the shader, and 2052MHz on the memory. I haven't gone further as I run stock on a regular basis anyway.

Look nice

Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model NE2KIT12864AL804

Pros: Overclock very well. I currently run 1050MHz 5-5-4-10 2T (other timings tweaked as well) at 2.05V - good enough for about 8700MB/s read on my P35-DQ6. LEDs look nice. I even ran 1200MHz 5-5-5-15 2T at 2.2V shortly, but I prefer low voltage overclocking.

Cons: Not the best value right now. These are still a good deal but regular Ballistix which clock just as well are about $15 cheaper when you factor in rebates.

Overall Review: With the giant passive cooling system the DQ6 uses, and light reactive parts all over my board, the inside of my case now looks like Tokyo with this memory installed.
