Small form factor Power House
Pros: - Small - Fast boot with both 2.5" SSDs and 2280 M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 SSDs - 6th & 7th Gen Desktop Processor Support - 32GB Memory Supported - 2x 2.5" Drive Bays - Very Easy Setup - Quiet (if set in the BIOS) - Very Fast Wi-Fi
Cons: - None
Overall Review: - Case Screws, they are in there tightly but if you have the right screwdriver head it is easy to get them in and out. - Hard Drive Connectors, I have bought a handful of these and I have not once had an issue with the hard drive connectors coming loose as they are on the backside of the device and nothing crosses paths with them. - Fan Noise, if you use the standard Intel heat sink it can be noisy unless you set the fan to be use "Quiet" mode in the BIOS. There is another compatible fan you can use that is less noisy: Silverstone RL-NT08-115XP (No case modifications are needed) - If you add the extra USB ports on the device, they are rather snug when installing but work very well. - The Wi-Fi module and antennas are easy to install and secure if you run them along the sides of the CPU heat-sink and is very fast compared to other AC Wi-Fi modules. - Using the add-on "DeskMini-Vesa Mount" gives you more options for installation of the DeskMini.
Asus quality is diminishing
Pros: - Great laptop while it lasted
Cons: - Lasted for 1 year and 7 months - After doing a keyboard update (which failed) both my M.2 and hard drive are no longer recognized by the BIOS and they keyboard no longer works
Overall Review: - ASUS Desktop and Laptop line have gone downhill.
Great fast drive!
Pros: - SSHD - Only takes a couple days to cache most used files. - Seagate, I have used many Seagate drives and not one has failed on us to date.
Cons: - None
