Heat? Not anymore!

Pros: I own an MSI 1727 gaming laptop, that runs an Intel Core i7 940xm, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics card, this thing runs very hot under load when playing a game. After plugging in this pad and letting it run for a bit, there has been a huge different of around 7 degrees Celcius, may not seem like much, but when your hitting temperatures around 90 under load, bringing that down to 80-83 is a very big difference.
Cons: The rubber grips on the pad are a little too slick for my taste, they don't really hold the laptop in place very well. See other thoughts for more.
Overall Review: My laptop does not have any form of rubber grips on the bottom, they have come off over time, so if your laptop has them, you might fare better.
Great until it died

Pros: Fast, simple, worked as advertised with default windows wireless drivers, no bloated software suite needed. This was an awesome replacement for my unreliable lan adapter.
Cons: Antennas were very cheap and flimsy, don't hold together very well. Device ceased working in less than a year.
Overall Review: Only 10 months of operation until it gave out about a week ago and is no longer detected by the machine. This is a shame because it was a very good redundant connection in my server computer which I have no physical access to right now, and need a constant internet route to in the event of the wired network failing.
