Overall Review: Keep in mind that I have only had this beast for 24 hours but I wanted to get a review out to help potential buyers. I was looking to upgrade my 2 year old MSI Stealth and when this model was announced, I knew that it was a definite contender. While waiting for it to be released, I did a lot of research and found that the specs on this model were going to be nearly impossible to match. Super thin and light, a fantastic screen, and a full fledged RTX 2070 (not a Max-Q). Reading reviews online is tough with a model like this. Most were pre-production or past models whereas, this model is much improved. I immediately added a 16GB GSkill 2666 DIMM as well as a secondary PCIe SSD- an HP 950. On one of the reviews I read, which looks like it came out of Europe and was pre-prod, featured an Intel 660 PCIe SSD. Fortunately, mine came with a much better Samsung MZ-VLB1T00 which is a PM-981. Much faster than the Intel. Doing the upgrades was easy and took less than 10 minutes. The screw sizes are different lengths so pay attention to where you are removing them from. There is no webcam, and an external one was not packaged as you may find other reviews mentioned. In fact, really no accessories were included. I'm ok with this. For me, this PC is not a desktop replacement but instead a laptop that I can travel with and work and play on the road. If it were in fact a desktop replacement, I may have had to choose a different model- one that offered Thunderbolt 3 as this one does not as it would allow me more options for monitors and external graphics cards. Anyways, I was able to install Overwatch and run through some tests. At 1920 x 1080, and Ultra detail, the laptop was averaging around 188 FPS. It was gorgeous. GPU temps were sitting between 82-83 degrees C which is hot but expected. This was on balanced mode. The fans get loud but not in an annoying sense. No coil whine whatsoever. With headphones, as I would normally play, it would be fine. While just browsing the web or doing office tasks, the machine is nearly silent. The fans are audible, but just barely. Anyways, I hope this review has helped. Overall, I am very satisfied in this laptop.
