Nice Memory

OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2G8002GK
OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2G8002GK

Pros: Excellent memory, runs perfectly on my ASUS P5B-Deluxe. Mmm... worked first time, didn't have to mess with my BIOS, didn't have to flash my mobo.

Cons: People are leaving bad feedback for this product because they don't read what they are buying, and don't match it to their motherboards. If you claim you know how to build a computer, then you should know how to flash the BIOS. (not necessary to flash with ASUS P5B-Deluxe.

Overall Review: Check out voltages and match the right voltage up to the proper mobo. Many people here are new at dealing with memory (or just got "bad" sticks), and also don't understand what "flashing" a BIOS means. No need to flash the BIOS in my case, but new mobos were having issues with DDR2. OCZ is a respectable company, and I have never received a faulty product from them. I look forward to buying 2 more gigs.

Never Buy Black

Western Digital Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Always impressed by Western Digital, have owned this for 5 years without a single issue It's marginally faster than a WD Blue or WD Green, despite the 7200RPM

Cons: This thing is so incredibly loud, I don't know how to describe it.. ticking, humming, buzzing. Accessing data is a cacophonous mix of all of the above. Massive writes sound like techno-popcorn. I don't have a db meter, but it's the loudest part of my computer.

Overall Review: Best solution: Get a Solid State Drive - way faster read/write and SILENT I left this review on the 1tb version as well, bought a 1tb and 2tb

Great Memory!

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1333C9
CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1333C9

Pros: Works perfectly, no issues

Cons: A little pricey, for whatever reason this memory dropped in price soon after purchase..

Overall Review: Since I was able to buy the same memory for nearly half the price when I build the second computer, I had to give this 4 stars.. the memory I went with for the second build earned all 5 stars, as the value was unmatched!

Price and performance

G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBSR
G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBSR

Pros: I bought this memory after a very similar build, this price point was HALF of the competitor price, all things being equal.

Cons: No cons

Overall Review: The heatsinks are neat

Killer Board!

GIGABYTE GA-H67N-USB3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-H67N-USB3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel H67 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This motherboard had everything I wanted for my Mini-ITX build, 2 slots for ram, 1 slot for my GPU, extremely low profile, gigabit ethernet, HD audio, etc. Stays nice and cool, installation is a snap. Great colors, black/blue.

Cons: Wifi might have been a nice bonus? I don't believe this can boot from USB, but I'm basing that on the BIOS message on boot - need to confirm.

Overall Review: I don't know if motherboard wifi is a good idea yet, as most routers have their own wifi sticks (and as wifi improves, you need new wifi sticks). I personally prefer hardwired internet over wifi when gaming, so it definitely didn't matter to me.
