Nice cooler

Corsair Certified CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 CWCH60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair Certified CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 CWCH60 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: Do not let the "Refurbished" tag fool you. This is a very solid cooling system and since it is refurbished it most likey has gone through more "quality control testing" than a new one. Keeps my new AMD FX-8350 at 28c idle and 48c at full load for 5 hours (Prime95).

Cons: None

Athena Power BP-SATA1842C Support RAID 0,1,5 Functions (Need SATA Raid Card or SAS Raid Card optional) 2.5" (SATA, SAS) Backplane Unit

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Cheap and you get what you pay for. Very poor construction. Drives vibrate and the fans on the back are low quality making them "whine" when they spin. Sent two of these back for refunds and I have now learned my lesson. If the ports on the back are not DOA then they are very very delicate....so delicate you cannot even install the unit with any confidence. Like I said, I learned my lesson with this unit and am buying an Enhance Technology Quadrapack Q14SS instead. Sure it is almost 3x as much but like I said before you get what you pay for.

Overall Review: Stay away! Only reason this got 2 starts is because of Neweggs great service!

Antec NEO ECO 400C 400W Continuous Power ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Like it. Quiet, does the job for an APU build I just did for a family member.

Cons: None

G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR

Pros: Solid and fast memory for a very fair price.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Used this in a build for a family member. Put it on an A85 motherboard with an AMD A10-5800K. DRR 1866 is the slowest memory I would ever use in this config because the speed DOES matter since the IGP is shared system memory. Faster memory = faster IGP.

Better than expected

AMD A10-5800K - A-Series APU Trinity Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket FM2 100W AMD Radeon HD 7660D Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic - AD580KWOHJBOX

Pros: First APU build. I do have an FX-8350 on a 990FX and was very surprised with the price/performance the A10-5800K showed. Used this in a build with for a family member and I might get one for myself to use in an HTPC I have been meaning to build.

Cons: None Really........It does not make coffee too?

Overall Review: Do yourself a big favor and if you go with this CPU get an A85x board get at least DDR3 1866. There is no reason to get any other (slower) FM2 chipset. And DDR3 1866 is the fastest all A85x boards support (you can go higher with an OC) but the reviews are out that with these APUs using shared system memory for the IGP, faster is better. If you do not believe me, search google for ourself. Just enable XMP1 Profile in bios. Another tip is to FORCE the IGP to use 1GB of system memory. Sure you can do 2GB but anything over 512MB the gain is minimal which is why I chose 1GB. 1GB to 2GB the gain is not even noticed.

BIOSTAR Hi-Fi A85S3 FM2 AMD A85X (Hudson D4) USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Solid board for the price. With rebate mine was under 50 bucks. Even at regular price there is no reason you should not buy any other FM2 board other than the A85.

Cons: I am very used to the ASUS UEFI Bios and this is not it but no need to deduct an Egg just for the looks of the bios when all of the functionality is still there
