Western Digital WD Green WD15EADS 1.5TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Works right out of the box in my external usb case.

Cons: A little loud when something is writing, but it's pretty silent most of the time.

Pretty Nice

Rosewill RX35-AT-SU SLV Aluminum 3.5" Silver SATA USB 2.0 External Enclosure
Rosewill RX35-AT-SU SLV Aluminum 3.5" Silver SATA USB 2.0 External Enclosure

Pros: The case is very small, just a little larger than the drive itself. It is also metal, which is nice. The internal sata connector is very solid. Also, the activity light is very dim, which I like, it doesn't need to be blinding.

Cons: Nothing really, the on-off switch is pretty small, but who cares? It would be nice if the black front piece was silver like the rest, but really not a big deal.

Looks good

VIZO VIZO-SCB-GR Cable Binding Kit (UV Green)
VIZO VIZO-SCB-GR Cable Binding Kit (UV Green)

Pros: This looks really good. I used it to clean up some wiring on a joystick I built.

Cons: The heat shrink tubing is waaay too big.

Pros: Awesome. Love the C2D procs. Haven't had a single issue with any of them, including this one.

Cons: None.

hec HP585DB 585 W ATX12V Power Supply - Power Cord Included

Pros: Worked fine right out of the box.

Cons: The sata connectors are kind of flimsy. I pulled on the sata connector that was plugged into the harddrive while I was installing it and the sata adapter on the power supply cracked. I was only running one sata device on this computer so I just used another one. Surprised though it cracked so easily. Not a huge deal, just have to be a little more careful I guess.
