Largest Jumbo Packet NIC

Pros: MTU can be pushed to 16110 in Linux/Other OS. Good performance.
Cons: No connection for network activity led header connection to front of case.
Overall Review: Best NIC for under 50usd.
Okay if you ignore the rails

Pros: Decent layout for 10 drive non hotswap rackmount server case. I have 2 Antec TriCool fans in front set to different speeds as my default HD fans and stripped the middle 5 fan array out to support the 7 drive setup I am currently running.
Cons: Several. The you get what you paid for cliche. The initial setup and fan swap took an entire afternoon. The drive cages were backwards and several other nuances slowed down the initial deployment. The kicker is the sliding rail kit included. The holes had to be redrilled to operate with standard rackmount M6 screws. I am reinstalling the case in a new square hole mounting rack enclosure [Tripp Lite] and the holes have to DRILLED AGAIN to fit properly. Norco Cases seem to be about quarter inch wider than standard 17 inch width which prevents a wider selection of rail options for installing.
Anyone used this as a fast card reader?

Pros: Just wondering if anyone has used this for just reading cards to make a fast image workstation, not for SSD disk drives. What kind of speeds did you get?
Cons: none
Nope

Pros: none
Cons: HP Omnibook XE3 would not post/boot.
Good value except for stacking

Pros: Excellent USB and eSATA speed. Very quiet and cold operation.
Cons: Unit bulky and not stackable horizontally - you have to move top unit further forward when stacking to not back the top vent of unit below. Light doesn't change color when disk activity.
Overall Review: Stop skimping and use it for your externals - they're your backups right?
Works fine

Pros: Works fine in an Antec USB enclosure. 5 year warranty.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: No industry standard SMART raw values.
