Overall Review: IT SITS UNUSED WASTE NOW
Woo Hoo! 128GB now.
Overall Review: matches with my previous 64GB, upping this Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master rev. 1.2 to whopping 128GB, just right for samples in Live 11 Suite, and video work. woohoo i don't bother overclocking, so it works
This arrived in two days, two days quicker than original ship date.
Pros: This appears SOLID and fires right up. Thanks VastKing!!!
Overall Review: A bargain at twice the price.
Excellemnt! Must Purchase USB Type A version
Pros: WAY BETTER than that over-priced Angelbird STA III <-> USB #.2 Gen 2 ONLY adapter. This unit has that AND one USB 3 and C each at the gen level PLUS INCLUDED 12V 3A Power Adapter AND TF (microSD) AND SD flash memory storage card slots one each. for half of what I saw one outfit selling the above-mentioned Angelbird SATA only unit.
Cons: It could use USB C to Type A and Micro Type A adapters inbox, but I shall purcahse the Type A one of these so I can buy the adapters I need to get it hooked-up to all the devices that I need this super-excellent design for. IT DOES NOT CHARGE THE DEVICE THAT IT IS PLUGGED INTO!!! Not a deal-breaker, except I will not be buying the 2nd one after all, since it will not charge my tablet or phone or laptop (that allows charging through its USB Type C port. Selling hubs that do not charge the deive is CRIMINAL!
Overall Review: If Cable Matters or UGreen wished to step up to the plate a design through this alleged so-called 'hurdle' USB Specification disallows charging and data transfer to occur at once, well those are the Criminals in this USB Mess and always has been. Let's find out what USB Central has to say about this. Hello USB.org USB-IF your Contact USB-IF Administrator is not only broken, but it is shut-down.
Excllent Product Great Price
I shall be purchasing the same thing with USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A plug instead of C soon. This is way better than the SATA-only device by Angelbird.
Both I bought were Great
until one had its power switch fail even when I had not done more than plug it in to get power, then flip the power switch less than a dozen times, as I generally unplug my power strips when needing to move them around, but just plain plugged-in 24/7/365 to provide what they delivery, ac power to a bunch of devices. It would be nice if these were UL-Listed, but they a good quality and before saying any of the USB charging ports are bad, double-check your dc multimeter or USB VA tester is working properly and your test procedures are not faulty like i did, and I have been doing electronics, design even way long time ago, but still I messed-up and thought the USB Type C port was faulty when in fact I was doing the same test twice and thinking it was two different tests, oopsy. The failed unit was replaced with another brand-new working one straight away, thanks! why am I being dinged for using the word "s c r e w e d - u p", huh Egg-on-your face, newegg?
