Good Stuff
Pros: Works great, nothing out of the ordinary
Cons: Macbook Pro 2.33 ghz doesn't use all 4 gbs.
Cool Enclosure, Incompatible...
Pros: The enclosure is real nice, exactly what you'd expect. Worked great with two drives I tried, a 500gb and a 200gb.
Cons: The eSATA wasn't compatible with my Rosewill RC-605 eSATA Expresscard.
Funny behavior
Pros: Great drive, no problems, fast.
Cons: Often times when the drive is powered up but idle (unmounted even) the drive will make a lot of noise as if it's seeking all over the place or defragmenting...
Versatile, simple
Pros: Although it says it works for laptops up to 15", I've used this with our 17" MBP as well without any trouble. I love how simple the design is and how lightweight and portable it is. I usually fit the stand around the laptop in a laptop carrying case and in effect the stand takes up no extra space. If you're just using this for cooling or slight elevation of your laptop, you use it most simply as in the photos, but you can also use the hardware that is included to flip the stand and prop it up much higher in the event you are using it with another taller monitor.
Cons: Fan makes funny noises occasionally. When the stand is propped up high, you lose access to the trackpad.
Always works
Pros: Always works as you'd like it to, nice and small, simple.
Cons: none, unless your bothered by bright blue lights.
As far as I could tell, great
Pros: Seemed to work great!
Cons: My laptop got stolen with it.
