Fantastic

Pros: - Great keyboard. Backlight aside, it feels great. - Machine looks good overall. - Has ports I want like USB-3 (helpful for phone tethering) and micro-SD card. - Ubuntu 20.04 works out of the box. (Just needs proprietary driver for network card.)
Cons: A little too much friction on the touchpad. I'm considering getting a cover.
Overall Review: This machine beats the hell out of the HP Stream.
A little disappointing, even for a budget machine

Pros: Screen - Some have said that the Stream has a weak display. I don't see it, display looks great. Touchscreen - Works well. Color and texture - Looks pretty good. Linux - Runs Ubuntu 20.04 out of the box.
Cons: Speakers - Are noticeably weak. They lose sound quality at louder volume, and even at quieter volume, the balance of sound is subtly off. I care about music a lot. Keyboard - Just feels a little "cheap" - I don't like the feel.
Overall Review: It's amazing you can get an operational laptop for this very low price, and it is perfectly usable for simple home-use tasks. This could be a valuable choice for kids who need their own machine for school work (and need no gaming capability above Solitaire). But the sound and keyboard were a surprising step down from a $400 Asus that I got 4 years ago. If you are a computer person, you probably won't really be happy with this machine. The touchscreen is very cool - although I don't think that a touchscreen is that useful. It's more of a novelty - it's fun to use for simple games (again like Solitaire), but it's typically faster just to use the touchpad. In addition, you don't really want to drag your finger across the screen, because there's too much friction to do that, so you frequently need to use the touchpad anyway.
Don't like the keyboard.

Pros: - The screen is very light, making this machine more comfortable to have literally on your lap. - Shiny and pretty.
Cons: - The keyboard is hard and metallic. The lettering is a little faint or harder to read than I want (although the letters may be lasered on, which would be a plus). The spacebar is low and set next to a curve in the frame, which makes it a little awkward to press - like your thumb is hitting a "sand bar" every time it tries to hit space. The keys are very light and easy to press, but I don't like the feel. - The wireless network card isn't compatible with Ubuntu (Linux).
Overall Review: I barely used it because I was turned off by the keyboard, which I really should have seen coming. It looks very cool, it just doesn't I have a very similar model at work, and it's great overall.
Great Keyboard

Pros: Without being flashy, the keyboard is sleek. It's narrow, maybe a little boxy, but the keys have a soft touch and are quiet. The mouse has beautiful sensitivity. My guess is it will be flawless for all but for high performance games, in particular precision f.p.s.
Cons: The keys and buttons have more resistance than is best. Really, you want no resistance at all. These are noticeable. I suspect that after long periods of use, they might bother you. If you have dainty hands and large typing loads, this keyboard is not the right choice.
Overall Review: I'm impressed with the quality overall. This is a set-up that is better quality than it looks.
