Most Favorable Review

Great product, with one flaw

G.SKILL Ripjaws SO-DIMM 32GB (2 x 16GB) 262-Pin DDR5 SO-DIMM DDR5 5200 (PC5 41600) Laptop Memory Model F5-5200S3838A16GX2-RS
G.SKILL Ripjaws SO-DIMM 32GB (2 x 16GB) 262-Pin DDR5 SO-DIMM DDR5 5200 (PC5 41600) Laptop Memory Model F5-5200S3838A16GX2-RS

Pros: No doubt super fast ram, easy opening packaging, and is very user-friendly.

Cons: It is not a plug-and-play, so if your laptop doesn't allow any tweakings to the memory timings, frequencies, or overclocks, you will kinda end up in an awkward position like me (paid for more but got less performance) stuck at 4800 Mhz base frequencies.

Overall Review: Was able to get 4800MT @ CL36 which is way better than the stock 4800MT @ CL40 on my Zephyrus duo 16

Cons: It's DOA

Overall Review: Over the last two years me as a college student has bought and used many motherboards, including but not limited to: Asus TUF B550M Zaku Edition Wi-Fi Asus ROG X570S Crosshair VIII Dark Hero Asus ROG X570 Crosshair VIII Formula Asus ROG X670E Crosshair Extreme Asus ROG Strix Z690-A D4 Gaming Wi-Fi Asus ROG Strix X670E-I Gaming Wi-Fi MSI B660M Mortar Max D4 MSI Z690 Force Wi-Fi Gigabyte Aorus B650M Pro AX Asus ROG Strix B650E-I Gaming Wi-Fi Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wi-Fi Asrock Z690-I/ax D4 Wi-Fi Asrock X670E Taichi Carrara Edition Minisforum BD790i Jgingyue B650I Night Devil Asus ROG X870E Crosshair Hero And finally this garbage, Asus ROG Strix X870-A Gaming Wi-Fi. This is my ONLY dead motherboard, and it is DOA. Asus is surely not trusted anymore. A couple of weeks back when I went to Micro/center to buy 9950X, the techs and sales reps there advised me strongly against picking Asus motherboards. And I've watched top YouTube tech channels including but not limited to Gamers Nexus, Linus Tech Tips, Jayztwocentz, De8auer... They all advised their audiences against purchasing and using Asus motherboards. On the other hand, I, with all the knowledge and advice even in person by the geekiest micro/center techs and sales reps to not choose Asus, and chose Asus... It must have been retribution on me for picking Asus to get this great DOA board. When micro/center sales reps told me that low-end Asus boards were not even manufactured by Asus but by some south asian mills, I thought they meant ROG Strix and below, but it turns out to be Crosshair(AMD)/Maximus(Intel) below, all the ROG Strix lines are garbage too.
