Interesting way to have two USB plugs

Pros: * It's small, so it takes up little space. * Type A and type C plugs mean you can use it with many different devices. * High-speed interface. * Has a loop, so you can attach it to a keychain or something.
Cons: * It's small (for a USB device), so it's easy to lose, if you're prone to that. (Still much better than microSD, though.) * The design makes it physically possible to plug it into two devices at once, if one has a type A receptacle and the other a type C. I don't know what would happen if you did that, but I suspect it might damage some circuits, especially when both of said devices are trying to provide power. To be fair, though, it's hard to imagine how someone could do it accidentally. * The casing doesn't seem very strong. I wouldn't squeeze it too much. * The type A plug uses the outer casing as its shell, and it's plastic. Normally, the shell is metal, and it acts as an extra ground when it makes contact with a receptacle, which it normally does first, but you don't get that with this product when using the type A plug. Then again, this might help protect against electrostatic discharge, as long as you keep the pivoting arm covering the metal type C plug.
Overall Review: Overall, I think this is a pretty good device if you have a need to use a drive with both type A and C ports. I would definitely recommend it.
Simple workaround for awkward cables

Overall Review: The intended purpose is no doubt for situations where a power cable is too short. However, even when cables are more than long enough, there is another possible problem: Non-modular PSUs like the one I have offer plenty of connectors, but some are in the middle of a cable with thick wires, which makes it difficult or impossible to connect them to some devices when those devices are too close to panels or each other. Such is the case with my SSDs, which are of necessity stacked very close together. These extension cables work around that by allowing me to move those awkward connectors away from the drives. I suppose other possible solutions include switching to a modular PSU or maybe some sort of hot-swap bays?? But this is far easier and cheaper to install.
Super fast!
Item arrived WAAAY before the estimate! Which is to say, a whole week before! I'm not complaining about that, especially as it was really helpful. The only thing to criticize is the fact I didn't get a shipping notification until *after* I already had the item, combined with needing to provide a signature on delivery. Some other person who would have to make special arrangements to be at home and thus wouldn't be home long before expecting the item might be a little inconvenienced by this combination. Nothing major, I suppose. But maybe Deus can look at making sure their notifications are timely. (Assuming it wasn't actually a glitch in Newegg's system, of course.) In any case, I'm still rating them a 5, because it wasn't a problem for me personally.
