Amazing Value

ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 939 ULi M1695 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 939 ULi M1695 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: The price on this motherboard is great, but don't let that fool you; it's a quality product. The Bios is really easy to set up and offers some easy overclocking abilities. Being able to have both an AGP and PCI-Express slot is great- it's what let me stick with my Radeon9600Pro so I could make it to my 7800GT.

Cons: The IDE placement is odd, and there aren't any bells and whistles such as firewire or Gigabit ethernet. Otherwise, a fantastic board for the price.

Overall Review: I've had mine for over two months now and it's been solid as a rock. Definitely reccomended for the budget gamer or someone who wants to get a head start on their gaming rig without putting up too much money up front. Bottom line- It's a good enough product to warrant the full five eggs. Also, shipping with FedEx was fast and awesome.

Works great with my Logitech MX518

TRENDnet TK-205K KVM Switch with Integrated Cables
TRENDnet TK-205K KVM Switch with Integrated Cables

Pros: I was worried after reading reviews that this wouldn't work with my Logitech MX518 USB mouse w/ PS/2 adapter. It worked at first, but the specific driver changes I had made previously did not. After seeing that official support was not given for KVM switches by logitech, I closed mozilla. I found a message instrucing me to reboot my PC, and when I did, all was well. This is a great KVM switch, especially for the money.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: No annoying beep. That was nice.

Stable and powerful- one heck of a value.

Rosewill RV450S-2 450 W ATX 12V v2.01 Power Supply
Rosewill RV450S-2 450 W ATX 12V v2.01 Power Supply

Pros: I know a bit about computers, but power supplies are definitely not my field of expertise. I did some research though, and found this to be a nice price for the raw numbers. Real-world performance is no different. Powers my eVGA 7800GT, A643000+, and 300 GB sata HD with plenty of room for expansion. I have no doubt it will be fine for an X2 when I decide to upgrade.

Cons: None so far. Works with my 20-pin ASRock 939 Dual Sata-II mobo.

Great performance vanilla, stellar performance overclocked.

EVGA 256-P2-N516 GeForce 7800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card

Pros: Wonderful card. Did not need a bios update at all. Stock speeds were adequate, but since I got Black and White 2 I upped the core to 500 mhz and the memory to 1.26 Ghz. Increased my 3DMark05 score by 1,000 for a total of 7,848.

Cons: Not by any means a deal breaker, but having to use a DVI adapter with my monitor is annoying, so I had to order a KVM switch since I mess around with old PC's with Linux a lot.

Overall Review: ASRock 939 Dual Sata-II 2x512mb corsair value select 300 GB Maxtor Maxline Plus Sata150 A64 3000+ @ 2.31 Ghz PSU: ROSEWILL RV450S-2 Cruddy old Gateway 2000 17" Monitor is definitely on the top for my next upgrade, since the one I have just doesn't do this card justice!
